My husband and I love gyros and we wanted authentic Middle Eastern fare. When we walked in, it was nice to see how busy it was! Although, it has limited seating. My husband and I had the lamb gyros with fries. Our food came out fast and was delicious. I had asked for tzaziki on the side as well.. And it never came. 🤷 But it was still great food.

This place is great. I really enjoyed my lamb Gyro. It's so tasty. Really nice people work here too. The seating area has an old world middle eastern charm that is decorated in a modest way. Next time I'm in Savannah I'm definitely coming back here to get another lamb Gyro and maybe some baklava. 🔥

This place was absolutely delicious. Coming from Georgia Southern University to walk around Savannah we had to try Al Salaam Deli as the ratings boasted. Was not let down by the lamb gyro. A kind of hole in the wall establishment, but that adds to the authenticity and experience.

Best Dolmas I've ever had, though they're called something else there. The hummus is also excellent. Great service but it can get very busy around lunch time (which goes to show how good their food is) so call your order in advance! Update: I wish I could give more stars. I have since moved away from Savannah and not a day goes by that I don't shed a tear over the fact that I cannot eat here anymore. This may be the best restaurant in Savannah.

Excellent middle eastern fare. Its a very small place that gets pretty busy, so I would recommend calling in your order. Try the lamb gyro!
