This review has been changed by me. Return trip was highly disappointing. Falafel Pita ( had 2). 4 falafel balls, tea spoon of veggies. Balance just lettuce. Really?

This is one of the best places to eat near Emory's campus! I have enjoyed the mixed sandwich, dumplings, udon soup, miso soup, ramen, and the falafel plate. Everything is delicious! It sometimes takes a little while to get your food because they get busy, but it's totally worth it!

The chicken shawarma pita sandwich was decent but not the greatest. Something seemed like it was missing. Compared to other places around the area like Pita Palace, I think the shawarma needed extra spice. The taste was a bit bland. I’m not sure if they make the pita bread there since it looked and tasted store bought. The place was busy so maybe it’s just my taste buds. But compared to other options in the area I may choose to go elsewhere when I’m in the mood for a pita sandwich. Bottom line, it was okay but not the best.

Without the spicy sauce, the falafel is okay. With the spicy sauce, it's absolutely amazing. This is my favorite restaurant in the Emory area.

I really, really wanted to have an awesome experience here, but it was just okay. I ordered the Mixed Plate lunch special: lamb + falafel, rice, dolma, with pita. For about $10, it was slightly less food than I was expecting, and while it was tasty, it really wasn't anything special. I might go back to order the sandwich everyone talks about.
