Zafron Restaurant

Great first dining experience with Zafron and expect to return many times again. Order lamb Kabob and Fire Roasted Salmon. The flavor was first class and generous portions. The dish was typical person served with basmati rice and roasted tomato. For appetizer ordered an eggplant dish and so happy we did. The flavor combinations of roasted egg plant, tomato and onion along with other spices was perfect. The staff were helpful and attentive. Parking was a bit congested and had to do a loop back to find the restaurant as the direction we came, all we saw was a sign for a medical building then saw the signage Zafron after we passed by. Restaurant had a constant flow of people that shows how well like the place is.

Good food (nothing special). When you go there you should double check the final bill. Overcharged our party (the whole 6 people with different orders) once. After talking to the waiter he came back with the new bills and again 2 orders were overcharged for the second time. Waited for 1 hour to talk to the manager, with no success. Dining table cover was torn with food grease dried beneath. Asked to move our party and they said its not possible, although it was not crowded. Extremely rude staff.

The meat is very juicy and tender, a lot of flavor, but not as much flavor as other Mediterranean restaurants in the area. Will definitely come back!!! Excellent Service! Very attentive and helpful! Will hope to try their desserts, when I come next.

The food was excellent, but it took FOREVER for our entree to be brought to the table. Service was excellent at the beginning of our evening, but things fell apart when the salad plates were removed from the table. When the food finally came, it was warm in lieu of hot, which made us think the food had been prepared, but left sitting for a LONG period of time. We were there on a Saturday evening, and the restaurant was very busy. Maybe they need additional servers on very busy evenings???

Over rated. Food is mediocre at best. Notkids friendly. Owner is friendly but the waiter( relitively bald and tall guy) made our experience unpleasant.
