Average wait is an hour and a half. Receptionist is Extraordinarily rude. Always rude. She shouldn't engage with the public. Of course, the dermatology clinic is the only game in town so I can't imagine the clinic cares one twit. One nurse was spectacularly rude and slammed the door in my and son's face after reluctantly dragging us to light therapy (for which we waited an hour to get in). The clinic is overwhelmed, badly managed and appointment times so far out that patient just gives up or dies. The One positive part of this place is Dr. Walker and her nurse, Michele. They are both beautiful, inside and out, caring, professional and know their stuff. I pray Dr. Walker and Michelle would split off from the clinic and form their own practice. I know a lot of people who would follow them in a heartbeat. I'm sorry I'm so rude but customers should know.

I was scheduled to see Staci Hardwick, CRNP. After waiting over an hour, she comes into the patient room and makes a light hearted apology for being behind schedule. I made a statement asking if this was normal procedure being behind. She said most often yes it was. I told her that was a shabby way to run a business because it seems like they are always an hour or more behind schedule. Ms. Hardwick told me that if I didn't like the fact she ran behind because she was taking care of patients with worse needs than mine (I was there for a follow-up to a Blue Light treatment) that I should find a new dermatologist. I told her that she was right. I got up put on my coat and left. I absolutely do not want this woman to practice medicine on me when she has this kind of attitude. She needs to learn proper family care methods.

Attentive and caring staff, and Dr. Weeks was wonderful. Patiently listened to all I had to say and answered all my questions. Not rushed at all.

There are a lot of bad reviews on here, but my experience was excellent. First off, there is a major shortage in dermatology offices in Tuscaloosa which is why it takes so long to get an appointment and it's always backed up when you go. Its not an individual business issue; it's a market issue. That said, this business has handled high volume pretty well from my experience. Everyone from the employees in the front to the doctor that saw me were helpful and pleasant. I hope if you are making a decision on where to go, that you take this office into consideration.

Nice staff but two of the three appointments I've made have been messed up on their end causing me to arrive on time and wait hours to be seen.
