Alchemy Memphis

Alchemy is an amazing bar. The bartenders were amazing! The food was delicious. I highly suggest the sliders and the double baked chocolate chip cookie! Matt the bartender took care of us, talked sports, and suggested different drinks to try. I would recommend this bar to anyone in the area looking for an wonderful night with an excellent atmosphere.

The atmosphere was swanky and the food was great. I think the bartender was a “high-volume” kind of guy and would be better suited for a crowded college or sports bar. He was fast and attentive, but took no care in making the cocktails. They all came out warm, which I doubt was the correct temperature intended. This is clearly supposed to be a craft cocktail joint, at least according to the prices, and the bartender should craft them, not sling them. His speed didn’t do anything for the atmosphere either. The drink prices were way too high for the attention they were given.

Great staff, nice environment. I really enjoyed myself. The bartenders went out of their way to make me feel very comfortable. I will definitely go back.

One of the best happy hours in memphis. I always have a great time. Service can be hit or miss every time I go. But overall a really good menu for food and drinks. It's in a good spot on Cooper young for drinks and dinner after work.

Classy cocktail bar in a hip part of town. Impressive bar, clean and welcoming decor. I ordered a round of lemon drop shots. Later I examined the receipt, I was double charged for the shots. Was visiting from out of town so hard to dispute the double charge. Lesson learned, when going out in Memphis, have a designated payer! Oh yeah the bartender not used to waiting tables misbalanced the first round of shots for four, they ended ended up shattered on the floor. No worries we all make mistakes, but I don't think I should have to pay for shots the bartender spilled?
