Alden pond is awesome, maintenance is always quick to get the work order done . All the leasing office staffs are very considerate and helpful, whenever I need assistance. Thank you so much Michelle and Melanee.
Lived at Alden Pond for 3 years and can confidently tell you this place is trash. The property management does nothing to keep the maintenance up on the units. If you submit a work order it will take months for a resolution. We had mold growing in our unit and it took them almost 3 months to fix and when I mean fix, I mean just paint over. Melanie the manager is cold, rude and unwilling to help any of her tenants. I fell and hit my head on our side walk resulting in a concussion this last winter. This was due to complete negligence on the property’s part to keep sidewalks and walkways clear of ice. They also never clean the gutters so water would flow over onto the sidewalk. Melanie was aggressive and told me they didn’t want to risk maintenance safety and that it was my fault. We left this unit shortly after for said reasons. They also let their tenants steal and keep other peoples packages! Please save yourself the hassle and do not move in here. It’s not safe and the property management is hostile.
I wish i could give 0 stars. I lived there for 2 years and the management is worst. My most apartments was full of issues, most of the closet doors came off, cool air was blowing in from all the windows during winter Its hard to survive in the winter, no proper insulation and there were many other issues but they didnt fix any of them from the beginning and they dont respond well sometimes and finally after moving out, they charged me for the issues which was there before i moved. There are better communities nearby. I strongly recommend to stay away.
Currently live here. I just wanna warn whoever will move to these townhouses. Winter time bill is around 300$ dollar just only for heat. 2 floor houses is incredibly hard to make it warm during winter Water-50$ Electricity 50-60. Trash-25$ Even insurance 15-18$ or something. Rent 1800$. You are paying over 2 k pretty much most of your stay. I could have easily found nice place for that budget. Keep it in mind also how old these houses are. Update I moved to different place and my 500$ deposit is also gone… Good luck
I scheduled a tour at this location, despite getting a confirmation email of the tour, the office was empty. Someone showed up eventually and did not seem to care that I was waiting. Save yourself the hassle and look somewhere else.
Currently Paying 2,100 a month for a dump. Very outdated. The owner of this company needs to come live in the unit for some time and see how much of a rip off this is.
Such a terrible and bad people working at the management office. Stopped by for printing 2 documents. There was a different old lady just sitting there, and i asked her to print something for me , she got a call at the same time, she said gimme a second, and I waited 15 minutes for her to finish something with maintenance people. Eventually she hung up and asked me to email those to her e-address, and i said okay. Right after 10 seconds she got a another call, she turned her chair around and started talking to someone about books , life lot of things. And it took another 10 minutes. Then i said for god sake ma’am print these documents for me that i can go to work. All the sudden she said i m busy here , started getting mad . Why did I interrupt her, cuz she just ignored me and entire 30 minutes and 100% did it in purpose that I would leave her alone she could talk about her life with someone on the phone. These people who works at management office have nothing to do with customer service or anything. Before you move in here , please think twice ..
Don’t recommend. We live there for 3 years . When we left they charge us $1,350 for cleaning fees . And if you don’t pay that they will go to the collection. New management is not good at all . After 2 years I asked if they can do paint they said you should be living 4 years to do fresh paint . Some houses they have a lot of mice . Dot recommend at all .
I wish I could give them 0 star. It’s the worst place I have lived for as long as I can remember and wouldn’t recommend anyone. They don’t maintain the units and everything falls apart, from the dishwasher to the laundry, the heat, windows and when you go to the office they talk to you like you are some kind of criminal.
I would not recommend living at Alden Pond at all. I agree with the other reviewers, things started off well at first, the office staff was very nice, beautiful and quiet neighborhood, but maintenance was severely lacking and neighbors were loud and annoying. We lived there for almost 4 years and the first 2 years we had no problems. The apartments are older, and our unit not cleaned well when we moved in. Over time we kept running into maintenance issues which seemed to be continually fixed with a band-aid approach. The final straw was mice in our unit. For over a year we had mice in our ceilings and walls. The maintenance department didn't seem to understand that the mice were moving from unit to unit in the ceiling and not directly entering our unit. They kept setting out traps in our garage and not addressing the issue by assessing the whole complex. Mice got trapped and died in our wall at least five times and the stench was horrible. The lack of concern was alarming. Not everyone can easily pack up and move, but with a child under 1 year old this is what we had to do. There was no way we could keep living there with mice constantly dying in the walls. I feel terribly sorry for the person who moved in after us.
