Alder Creek Kayak & Canoe

Such a great day trip right outside of the city limits. Alder Creek Kayak & Canoe set us up quickly with some paddle boards, a suggestion on where to go and we had an awesome morning playing in the shallows on the end of Hayden Island... great time had by all. In and out was easy and everyone was nice and helpful

Easy to book online. A friend and I went stand up paddle boarding at the Ridgefield location. Staff was great. Beautiful wildlife, saw a bald eagle. I would definitely go again. The one major downside is the powerboats that create wakes and disrupt the tranquility of the experience, but that happens almost everywhere.

We booked a 2 hour reservation at the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge. Knowledgeable person at the desk who gave us lots of helpful information. I will definitely be back!

Everything went very smoothly. The canoe was perfectly clean, then popped into the water and held for easy boarding. We were given all the gear we would need and shown a map. The water way is easy to paddle, the current quite mild, and we saw some lovely birds. We had a great time.
