Whitaker Ponds Nature Park

This is one of our families favorite walking spots. There are always ducks and geese. Sometimes we get lucky and see the stork and beaver. Its beautiful in any of the 4 seasons, and very kid friendly. My almost 3 year old LOVES coming here :

Be careful walking the dog at night. My cute dummy dog fell in the center of the dock. Worth the walk but got wet because I have a goofy dog.

Great spot to walk around the pond. No fishing or fires. They just got rid of the homeless camps.

I actually went for a walk and its beautiful. Set backs are this homeless camp close by also homeless often park on street in front leaving their garbage and drug paraphernalia !

Pretty park. Good spot for ducks. They are making weird choices about cutting trees down right now. Sounds of industry sometimes drown out birdsong, but it is pretty good habitat regardless.
