Amazing dentist. Made my front chipped teeth look beautiful and helped with Invisalign! I’m picky about dentists in Manhattan and he’s the best one I’ve found. I still get asked at bars who my dentist is and compliments on my teeth !
I would say that's the worst dentist I have ever seen in NYC ever. I had a wisdom tooth, it should take care by the specialist but Dr Alex didn't told me, he just did the extraction by himself without general anesthesia, during this 2 hours I feel my jaw almost dropped and I have to use my hand to support. After the wisdom tooth extraction, my right side face was swell and pain over 1 month, I can't work and social as usual even I took pills everyday. I don't think he has the enough knowledge about the tooth extraction, also the general care was not gentle enough. I also my another wisdom tooth extraction with specialist, they take care well of me and it only takes 10 mins without any pain, now my face not swell that big, I will NEVER come back this dentist
Dr. Alex Gause is by far the best dentist I have ever encountered. Every visit has been nothing less than excellent, from state of the art technology to highly professional staff all working to deliver the best in class dental experience. From the very first appointment, I realized that Dr. Gause has a more refined, innovative approach to dental health. His staff is amazing: best receptionist and best hygienist. I love the fact that we get reminder texts for upcoming appointments, etc. If you're looking for the best, book your first appointment today!
From start to finish what a great appointment. Beautiful clean office...very very thorough appointment. Dr. Gause was so sweet, he took his time explaining everything through out the exam, listened to my concerns/changes I wanted to make to my smile. The Hygienist Devin was so personable, gentle and funny! My teeth feel amazing : Lastly the beautiful office manager Baily was so nice and welcoming when I arrived and when I checked out. Please book all your dental needs with Dr. Gause and his team!
Wow ! Went in for my cleaning and check up today Dr Gause was very professional and thorough. He is very trust worthy and explained I have some small cavities but he could watch them. This translated directly into trust. I went to other doctors who simply wanted to max out my insurance and wallet but not Dr Gause. He definitely helped easy my dental anxiety and restored my trust in my dental provider. Best dentist in midtown and NYC !!
I have super high anxiety of seeing the dentist and have avoided going for a while. Dr. Gause made me feel comfortable immediately and when he gave me my diagnosis he gave me the news gently and professionally. Also the best teeth cleaning I've ever had, I think my teeth are a full shade whiter. The staff has been great to work with overall, and generally I would recommend Dr. Gause and his office to all of my friends.
Dr. Gause and his staff live up to their five star Google and Zocdoc ratings. The exam was one of the most thorough I’ve ever had and Dr. Gause took the time assess health and appearance. He truly wants his patients to be healthy and happy with their smile. Fred, the dental assistant, is patient and did a great job with the cleaning. I highly recommend this practice.
Totally clean and professional which is what we all look for and great work he does his staff is very down to earth and professionals as well
I see Dr. Gause regularly for my recurring 6-month dental hygiene/cleaning and have always left satisfied. I recently got my teeth whitened and had a huge noticeable difference. Very cordial and accommodating staff.
My visit at the office was okay, what will ensure I never visit this office again was the fact that they are misleading. I was told I only had to pay $170 for two fillings and that my insurance would cover the rest. I paid and received the procedure. Three weeks later I received a bill for an additional $250. I spoke to Dr. Gause who stated the $170 was an estimate and they can’t ever really know how much the insurance would cover until they send them the bill. I was never told this was an “estimate” and feel beyond misled into getting a procedure that would cost me more than double what they said it would. Had they said it was an “estimate” I would of called the insurance myself first. Dr. Gause insisted on it being the insurances fault but it isn’t because your staff is the one that should of advised me that it was an “estimate” rather than saying the $170 was all I had to pay. I will take my business elsewhere.
