After moving to midtown Atlanta we began looking for a dog walking service we could trust.  We initially went with another company and were less than pleased after a month of service.  We began searching again and could not be more thrilled that our search led us to Alfie!  The owner, Alex, is very detail oriented and very professional.  He always responds promptly to emails and his passion for his business is obvious.  He has built a great team of dog walkers that are equally passionate.  Our dog loves them and we trust them implicitly.  Alfie assigns your dog a primary dog walker which allows for a special bond to be built.  Our walker, Erin, truly loves our dog.  She takes care of him the way we would and respects our home.  We have never come home to a mess and love the PetCloud online portal. It is so convenient to schedule your appointments online, view invoices and get real time updates on your dog during the day via email!  Our dog is a rescued pit-bull mix and comes with some special personality quirks.  Alfie never shied away from taking him as a client, they have no breed restrictions and are true dog lovers. Don't waste your time trying other services. Alfie is the best choice for you and your fur-baby!  Finally I wanted to share two examples of Alfie's great customer service.  1  Recently our primary dog walker, Erin, was going to be out of town.  Alex, the owner, notified us approximately two weeks prior and informed us that he would be available to complete the walks if we were comfortable with that.  Our dog is a little tentative with men, so Alex willingly accompanied our primary dog walker on a walk to help make our dog more comfortable.  2  We just used Alfie pet to watch our dog while we were out of town.  Our dog stayed at our place and was walked a few times a day.  When Atlanta was expecting bad weather they let us know and made sure we made it home after our flight was delayed.  Their primary concern was making sure our dog was well taken care of and that is why we love Alfie!!!

We started using Alfie after we adopted a 2 month old puppy about a month ago and needed someone to take him and our 5 year old dog out during the day. Our 5 year old is very protective, so we needed a dog walking company that we knew would give us a consistent walker, and our puppy is still adapting to walking with a leash, so we needed a dog walker that was patient, careful and that we trusted with our little ones.  Alex came to our house to meet the dogs, share more detailed information about his walkers and this company, and he gave us the confidence we needed to know we were making the right decision by using Alfie rather than some of the other companies in Atlanta. We are so happy with this decision! Mary is our walker, and we get a notification every time she starts the dog walk and every time the walk is completed. There’s a GPS so you can see where they walked, and it is easy to add appointments. The app and the website are both super user friendly.  Additionally, Mary uploads 3-4 pictures a day and writes a full paragraph on how the walk went and what funny things the dogs did on their walk. These pictures and notes really are a special touch and we look forward to seeing them every day while we’re at work. We are so thankful for Alfie and we highly recommend them!

I've used Alfie for over 2 years and have loved this service. My dog walkers have been so reliable, never showing up outside the designated time window set up for my walks and have never forgotten to lock my door or set my alarm system before leaving. I love getting the daily photos and message about how my dog is doing. They've also been very accommodating and Alex has always been willing to fill in for my many last minute requests for weekend walks. I really cannot recommend this service highly enough!

This is my second month of using Alfie and I love everything about it.  I have two dogs under the age of 2 and they absolutely love Taylor, our regular dog-walker. It is so great to get email updates when she arrives, and get pictures when she leaves. She always leaves a long paragraph describing what the pups were up to on the walk and I can really tell she cares.  Alex, the owner, has always been very quick to respond to my many questions, and the website interface is great.  I would definitely recommend to any dog-owners in the Atlanta area!

I have been with Alfie for over two years and the experience has been incredible. Alex not only cares about every pet, but in my experience, he cares about every client too. He happily adjusted my walks numerous times for vacations or changes in my work schedule - my walker even came on Thanksgiving last year! Even if you never meet your dog walker you can feel the love they have for your pet through the notes and pictures they send you at the end of the walk. There is no better feeling and I always look forward to the huge smile it puts on my face. Alfie has an incredible system in place so your dog will never go without a walk. If your walker is sick and can't make it, Alex will come himself. I can't imagine a better company and recommend them to everyone I know.

I could not speak more highly of Alfie Dog Walking! It’s hard leaving a dog at home all day while at work, so not only did Alfie give our puppy plenty of exercise, It allowed me to see pictures of our dog during the day. The daily updates keep me at ease while I am at work. The owner, Alex, is extremely responsive and reliable and I would highly recommend Alfie to anyone!

Updated review on October 18, 2019:  My family has been a loyal to Alfie for over four years, but experienced a disappointing change in the level of customer care when the business changed owners and they lost additional key team members over the last year. We had two no-call/no-show appointments, which left the dogs and humans quite uncomfortable, and experienced limited communication that required consistent follow-up from our end. In combination, we lost trust in the company and have switched providers to ensure the quality of service meets our family's needs. They didn't even ask why we were cancelling walks after four years when I notified them. I'm really sad to write this review since Alfie provided us with such great support previously, but I feel it important to caution other potential new clients, especially after seeing two additional one-star reviews over the past few months. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original review two years ago prior to change in ownership:  It's hard to put into words the positive impact that Alfie has had on our lives,  but quite simply, our family couldn't function without them. I wish I'd found them years ago when we first moved to Atlanta.  We've had terrible experiences with dog walkers for years, but the moment that I spoke with Alex, who took the time to thoughtfully listen and offer support as to how his team could help, I knew we were in good hands.  I look forward to reading the funny updates every time our fur baby, Zeke, takes a stroll or spends the night with an Alfie team member and I delight in the fact that Zeke runs to the window to watch Alex leave our house because he just considers him another one of his "hoomans".  Alex and Alfie are an integral part of our lives and a primary support system. I trust him and his team implicitly because they've shown our family dogs and humans alike such love and commitment.

I've been using Alfie for almost two years now and have nothing but wonderful things to say. The Alfie team does an amazing job taking care of my 65lb Labrador Retriever, Jackson. He can be quite hyper and they offer a great "5k" package that wears him out when I am at work.  I've used Alfie many times when I've been gone on weekend or week long vacations. I've never worried about my pup or his wellbeing when I've been out of town and he's in Alfie's care. They've truly gone above and beyond to take care of him and communicate important things to me. They partner with a great website service that sends you notes about your pet and pictures from each visit too which means so much when you're away from your fur baby.  I highly recommend them!!

I've had nothing but great experiences utilizing Alfie and have been doing so for two years now. Alfie is extremely reliable and has certainly done a great job handling all of the surprises our Golden Retriever has thrown at them. I absolutely recommend them for anyone needing dog walking services!

We cannot say enough good things about Alex and Alphie Dog Walking! From the start, Alex was quick to respond and very flexible! My 5-year-old golden retriever loves seeing our walker, Tara, every day. I have such peace of mind knowing Bentley gets a good walk and potty break every day, and without breaking the bank. I love the software/app that Alphie uses- it is so easy to modify scheduling or leave notes for Tara. Plus I get a great update every day after the walk. And if I every need something specific, like when I was keeping my mom's dog last minute, Alex was quick to respond and get my walks updated to add another dog! Alfie Dog Walking is perfect to get a great walk with no hassle... what a great value!
