I drove all the way from Harlem just to get some herbs. This place is aHmazing!! Every herb you could possibly want and more! The store is clean, very well organized and the staff -super friendly. I will be back to build my collection of herbs and spices... I'm hooked!

A little gem by Nostrand. So many different kinds of teas, mushrooms, herbs and honey. It's like a modern apothecary with wholesale goods.

This place is an amazing neighborhood resource If you are looking for a hard to find spice, grain, or legume, you'll find it here, and the prices are very reasonable too. No need to go to Kalustyan's for Indian or Middle Eastern ingredients -- Alive Herbal has you covered.

I love this place. One can find anything needed for Asian cuisine - fruit, vegetables. Also, there's new age things like incense & related paraphernalia, containers to make one's own lotions...natural beauty products, natural toothpastes, cooking & essential oils, etc.

What a perfect store! Lovely spices from all over the world. Biber from Urfa, tea from Assam, hazelnuts from Turkey... love this store.

I can’t believe it took me this long to find this place - It’s truly amazing!! Every time I am cooking or baking and am struggling to find a spice or ingredient, I always able to find it here. I could spend hours just browsing. The store is well organized and the staff helpful.

They have every spice you could think of and so many I didn’t know about! Variety of options for containers and sizes of products if you’re refilling a jar at home. The mango lassi in the fridge is amazing!

I love this place! They literally have everything packaged in alphabetical order and each label has a description on the product along with how to use it. Love this spot! Will be returning in a few days
