All Med Health Family Medicine and Walk-In Clinic

My husband just had a serious car accident and we went in for a well needed check up.we thought it would be better then going to a hospital and taking up more medical services then is needed.we waited for 2 hours and even Checked In on our wait time;which they responded to us .we waited outside and came in when they said we were next ...after that we waited 1/2hour more.1pm passes and at 1 :15pm someone came to the waiting room to say the doctor is not coming in for a next hour or so. Waste of time and honestly slow service....They were laughing and talking in that 15mins when they notice that there other doctor left at 1pm and the other one didn't arrive yet.They could have given the waiting group a heads up.Not only me but others who arrived around the same time as us also had to go elsewhere due to the now added 1hr+ wait time.

People are really quick to put up a negative review. Was in the clinic today for my mom. They had over 25+ people lined up before the clinic even opened. By the time it was our turn to sign in, there was a 1.5 hr wait. Which made sense given them amount of people. They had one cute receptionist running around, who was extremely nice and managed the clinic very well, she let us leave and come back (which a lot of places don't let you do). The doctor took his time with us. Very please with this clinic, but they need to hire more doctors, receptionist and nurses.

I drive from Orillia to Newmarket to go to this clinic. I have been going here for about 4 years. The most I have had to wait is about 40 min compared to the long hours I would have had to wait in a walk-in in Barrie. The last time I was here, about one week ago, I was literally in and out within 10 min with my prescription in hand. This is a fantastic clinic. Great staff, short wait times. Worth the hour drive!

UPDATE: So, I went to the Dr to find out my results today. As usual, I waited the customary 1.5 hours in the office. I thought something was wrong so I waited. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY TOLD ME. YOUR FOOT IS FINE. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO FOR YOU. IF YOU WANT, YOU CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR BENEFITS AND GO SEE A PHYSIOTHERAPIST. Seriously?? THAT'S IT??? What about the total of 3 hours of wasted time of my life that I will never get back because your office is incompetent to properly staff your office? On top of that, why not hire some office staff that are courteous? I am NEVER returning to this walk in again. Save the previous time. The hospital would be faster..and we all know how long wait times are in Emergency. If I could give a 0, I would. I went there a week ago to have my foot looked at. It had swollen up and I needed to see a Dr. The office staff told me to come back after 1.5 hours since that was the wait time..they said. I got back there promptly after 1.5 hours. I asked after another hour if I would be seen soon. The woman literally laughed in my face and said no. She told me there were 5 people in front of me, but at least 10 people got called to the back. I had to get an ultrasound and xray and the results were going to be sent back to the Dr's office. They called tonight at 8:06 pm and i answered the phone but they hung up. I called RIGHT BACK at 8:07 pm..THREE TIMES and no answer. They are open until 8:30 pm. What irks me the most is that I called back multiple times and the phone was ringing off the hook. As soon as 8:30 pm came the message changed to 'WE ARE NOW CLOSED'. Why the heck didn't anyone answer the phone then?? Do you not care that patients may have been waiting a week to know results and speak to someone about it and may be anxious?

This clinic advertises that their opening hours Monday to Friday are from 9 am to 8:30 pm. I arrived at 4: 15 pm, at which time the staff put a sign on the door saying "not taking any more walk ins". I decided to wait, as I got in just in time, and 2.5 hours of waiting I asked the staff how much longer......at least another hour. Needless to say, I left. I understand that walk in clinics are not always ideal and that they get busy. I believe that one of the problems was that there was only 2 doctors for walk ins. This clinic appeared unorganized and not prepared for this well known flu and other illness period. The reception were patient and tried their best. I advise that if you are really ill, go to emergency and you will probably be seen sooner.
