The mission of the Alliance Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center is to educate and provide our patients with chiropractic, acupuncture, nutrition, and other natural solutions to common health problems.

Story

Dr. Alex Van Wyk is a Des Moines Chiropractic Physician and Diplomate in Acupuncture with more than 30 years experience in alternative health care.

He is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has completed extensive postgraduate training in acupuncture and nutrition. Dr. Van Wyk has been serving the Des Moines area for over 25 years.

Dr. Van Wyk is nationally board certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Born and raised in central Iowa, he holds true to Midwestern values. He is a third generation chiropractic physician, following his father and great uncle in the chiropractic profession.

Dr. Van Wyk enjoys running and completed his first marathon in Duluth, Minnesota in 2010.

I used Alliance 20 + yrs ago had great service then. I returned in June, the staff and Dr Alex Van Wylie are so easy to talk to. My results for my treatment plan are awesome ! Highly Recommended..

I came to Alliance Chiropractic for a frozen shoulder and it started improving in a very short time.  Dr Alex is kind, caring, gentle and very knowledgeable. The staff are sweet and cheerful. The whole atmosphere is positive and uplifting. I'm glad I came.

Dr. Alex Van Wyk is excellent at caring for his patients holistically! His entire staff is wonderful! Everyone there is friendly,  compassionate and caring! Strongly recommend!!

I came in for a knee injury from running and Alex and his crew were great! Such a nice group of people, and great experience! They are all so nice and helpful!

Dr.Alex Van Wyk fixed me! I wasn't sure at 1st if it was going to work...my disc's are worn, my spines curve was practically nonexistent, and the pain was unbearable at times. In 2 months he fixed me! No more pain! A real diamond in the ruff this one is! Do yourself a favor, go see Alex!!

I’ve been having upper and lower back problems & I had 3 adjustments already and I’m feeling a lot better! Able to work without pain. Highly recommend this place.
