The mission of the Alliance Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center is to educate and provide our patients with chiropractic, acupuncture, nutrition, and other natural solutions to common health problems.
Dr. Alex Van Wyk is a Des Moines Chiropractic Physician and Diplomate in Acupuncture with more than 30 years experience in alternative health care.
He is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has completed extensive postgraduate training in acupuncture and nutrition. Dr. Van Wyk has been serving the Des Moines area for over 25 years.
Dr. Van Wyk is nationally board certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Born and raised in central Iowa, he holds true to Midwestern values. He is a third generation chiropractic physician, following his father and great uncle in the chiropractic profession.
Dr. Van Wyk enjoys running and completed his first marathon in Duluth, Minnesota in 2010.
