Allwood Theater

I love this theater! This theater has been around quite a long time surviving some of the other theaters that were larger that have ceased closed. To me there's a good reason for this although this theater is not the most modern and the largest I just love the fact that it's a small town movie theater. I remember one time when we went in to see a movie got there about 15 minutes late to see the movie. we were all set to go and leave and come back for the next showing however the manager heard us and told the employee that we could go see the same movie and another theater because the other movie I believe it was Paul Blart Mall cop had no one in it surprise surprise. So we got to watch the movie in another theater all by ourselves it is service like that you would not get in a larger theater and is reasonable to coming back to this theater! I do not expect incredible service like that happen again but one time like that is enough to keep me as a customer! This theater also has a special where before 5pm is only five dollars to see a movie and Tuesday is a special all day long! Some overtures of been converted into the lounge chairs but I do not believe them converted the whole theater as of yet. May 2018

An older theater that still provides a good movie watching experience. The chairs are comfortable enough, lots of leg room. Don't go if you want more than popcorn, coke, and a movie. $5 matinee is well worth.

This place is hysterical! Everything is falling apart, the chairs, bathrooms, lighting and I'm surprised the screens work 😆 Would be much better if this was a cheaper theater but they have normal prices with stale popcorn...... However the employees are nice 😏 I'm from Cali, call me spoiled but I won't be back.

I’ve been to this theatre a few times in the past. Local theaters are hard to come by in this area. I have to admit the atmosphere is pleasant. I went to see Avengers Infinity War and I had a very pleasant experience. If you’re not a person who likes crowded places this one is for you. This place is a hidden gem. But it does have some flaws as with most old local movie houses there’s a little bit of maintenance that the place needs but all in all it was a pleasant experience.

This place is great for a matinee viewing. Can't beat $5 before 5p. The snack prices are also reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Not a big league theater, but nice and we should support our local businesses.
