Bought the raspberry chocolate moose cake. So yummy! The place has so much more to offer. I wish I had more time had to rush home before rush hours start to explore other options from cheese to bakery to sandwich. They all looks so good. Will definitely come back to have brunch.
The pics don't do this place justice. The Best salmon and veggie sandwiches. I love their choco and oatmeal raisin cookies. Their hummus and deli sides are amazing. Soup is awesome! It's a fantastic day when I con go to ALON!
First time at Alon's, Saturday morning breakfast done . Ordered twice roasted almond croissant, blueberry muffin, chocolate croissant and cappuccino with oat milk. The croissants were just amazing! The coffee was ok not so great. Busy place on weekends. But would definitely go back to try the other stuff.
The dessert here have always warmed up my heart. I used to work here and everything still taste amazing. When I told my husband that I was coming here, he gave me a list of desserts to buy my caring how much they cost. Yes the price went up since I was working there but hey, everything in life is increasing plus Alon wants to become one of the best bakeries out there. I heard that he just opened a new one at Phipps Plaza mall. Just wanted to say thanks for the experience working there and congrats on the new location. You went from opening this location in 1992 and moving your way up in 2021 with 3 locations in total. I’m a 1993 baby and my husband is 1992 so I understand how much time you spent working hard and becoming something great!
Warm croissants, fresh baked pastries and bread, so good. My Sunday morning go to wherever I’m craving a good croissant and cup of coffee, which is pretty often. They have so many great items to choose from. The lunch sandwiches and soups are delicious too. Parking is kinda crazy sometimes but even if you have to park and walk a couple blocks it’s worth it. Gets crowded so get there early or just enjoy the buzz of everyone around.
Everything was impeccable. We had the key lime tart, the new opera tiramisu, and a whole assortment of macarons. Very happy with the service and the feel of this place, would absolutely go again.
Get their creme brûlée! The sugar top is perfectly crisp and satisfying to break into the creaminess of the dessert. Would come back just for this.
Food was decent. Customer service was not. Didn’t get his name, but the black gentleman “helping” at the sandwich counter was incredibly impatient and brash. Then accused us of not paying for our sandwich and soup even though I pointed out that my husband had just paid. I understand Alon’s weird system of ordering in one line and paying another is a bit chaotic and hard for employees to monitor, but that’s definitely not the customer’s fault. Alon, fix your funky system. It doesn’t create a relaxing customer experience
Went for the first time yesterday and must have gotten the rudest employee out of the whole bunch the older Black gentleman with the glasses- he was so condescending when I asked about items on their menu. Apparently the online menu is NOT the same as the in-person menu, and some of the items on the in-person menu aren’t things you can order, they’re just things they keep in a cooler and if you don’t see it in front of you, you can’t order it. However, the breakfast burrito was delicious and I overheard multiple people saying how good the coffee is! It’s a really cute place so I’m down to give it another shot.
I've enjoyed Alon's salads, soups, sandwiches and desserts for decades. I returned twice last week after a long hiatus to meet with friends. The food remains remarkable and memorable. I had the Thai chicken salad. The following day I had the vegetarian eggplant sandwich and couldn't resist a cranberry scone. There is very limited indoor seating and some outdoor seating. Alon's does a brisk to go business. There is a small free parking lot with relatively quick turnover because so many people are coming in to pick up their orders. There's also street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. The range and quality of the desserts is fabulous and there is also a deli -type area with loads of scrumptious to go selections.
