As a nurse who works at a Cancer hospital, & just a health-conscious person overall, I became very concerned when I saw how the pasta at alonto is prepared.. they put the ingredients together in a PLASTIC bowl and MICROWAVE it!! I've eaten here before and flavor is good, but now knowing how they prepare things, I won't eat here again.. the way they prepare pasta is a sure-fire way if giving cancer to people!

I don't know if it's just today because all the other reviews are saying it's great but the only thing here that looks safe to eat is the prepackaged chips and soda. Everything else looks like it's been sitting out for hours. Plus they reheated my pasta in the microwave and it was still cold...

Omg this place has my upmost respect. I love love love here. Their breakfast was awesome. Their sandwiches are delicious. A must have to try.

Located inside Houston Methodist Hospital buildings. Very casual Italian/American eatery. They have a variety of sandwiches, salads, pastas, and soups. The chicken tequila pasta is a favorite for sure - it's amazing! They also have really good breakfast tacos in the morning and decent coffee. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of seating

Love their Harvest salad at the Medical Center. They ssll out too fast.
