Amami Bar and Restaurant

We’re new to the area and happened to get lucky when we decided to go to Amami for our first sushi dinner. The food is amazing - we haven’t left anything on our plates the few times we’ve been here. The service is equally as great and everyone who works here is so pleasant. Highly recommend this place!!!!!

From the first moment you come to this place the waiters give you an excellent feeling. Very friendly hosts, it is a nice place to pass time with your friends or with your date. enjoyable cooking, specialist chief cook and stuff, good price and courteous service. Warmly recommended.

Is this worth $93? I don’t think so. The fish is basic at most and small cup of miso soup is whatever. Wanted to give them a try but will never order from this place again

The tuna and uni was very good, however the portions were smaller than found in Tokyo. 12 $ for one peice of otoro nigiri.

Fast and delicious food. Traditional pork gyozas were tasty and the tonkotsu ramen was divine! Great music as well

Love their to go options, all packaged quite nice! Fish quality is superb. Dined in last week and loved the ambiance.
