Fushimi Modern Japanese Cuisine & Lounge

Came here for a Staff Dinner and the food was very good and well priced with a fixed menu. The atmosphere was nice and not packed which I liked. Drinks were great and strong! Couldn't have picked a better place for this dinner! Thank you Sarina for helping us get this together you are an amazing person to deal with and very friendly. I apprecaite your hospitality!

The food as well as the service is a five star. There is many Japanese restaurants in the area but this one definitely stands out. I don't think there is anything on the menu that is not delicious. Honestly, I can recommend this place without hesitation. A+++ ... One of the best places I have been.

Great ambiance and food. Special rolls are huge. Had the rock shrimp which was pretty good. Muddled blueberry drink was delicious! Had a hard time flagging down our waiter for an early dinner, which was why i knocked a star. Was barely packed so it was a little frustrating but otherwise we had a good experience!

Really enjoy this restaurant and it’s ambiance. I’ve been wanting to go here for so long but never had got the chance to. Everything on the menu is so dynamic but I will say the sushi is my favorite I had the mummy. The appetizer duck is also amazing as well. Thé drinks are made well and strong. I gave this restaurant a 4 because I placed a down payment for my table and instead of the Down payment being returned and the bill being split, our table had to calculate the remainder costs. I do think they should think about changing this method. Overall, great music, great food and great for photos.

Went for a birthday brunch and the unlimited drinks were delicious!!! The peach Bellini to the lychee martini. The food was phenomenal, but I did still leave hungry. Portions are quite small, but are delicious.

This is not just any kind of sushi place. It has atmosphere and is fun. The food is extremely nice presented and tastes delicious. The tables are good for bigger and smaller parties . Would go there again any time.Food: 5/5

Loved the cheesecake lollipops! Sushi was good, but the hand rolls were kinda soggy. Love the vibes inside, just hard to see what you’re eating lol. Service is ok. Tipping is kinda weird. Some other reviews and the table next to us had tips included but our bill did not. Not sure what’s up with that. 7/10 would recommend for food 9/10 would recommend for desert

Absolutely beautiful interior! Very fun vibe! The food and portions are great for sharing. The rock shrimp was good although, I personally would’ve preferred if it were cooked in more of the aioli sauce. I loveddd the short rib appetizer! Definitely recommend trying it! The Sunset Blvd specialty roll had a smushy, soft texture and was on the sweeter side for a roll. Next time I would try a classic roll.

I don't know what it is about me I got this thing for sushi lately when I say lately I say the past 2 years lol. So I looked online for the rave reviews for sushi restaurant in Williamsburg or near it and this pops up. I didn't expect anything big or fabulous or whatever. However the core coming in was interesting. I have to admit having a nice decor will bring on soothing relaxing feeling and that's what I got. I had a chance to look through the menu to see what I wanted because I never been here before and I came across a number of interesting things. The first thing is that it's advertised online as a all you can eat however it's not. So don't come here looking for smorgasbord cuz it's not happening. The walk towards the back was very entertaining as the whole seated me a tall gentleman who seem pretty funny. I like that great personality. I was greeted by my waiter I didn't get his name but a young handsome I gather he was Asian I don't know my eyes are slightly slanted people call me Asian but I'm not so I don't know but a handsome gentleman waited on me. I ordered some shrimp thing I forgot what it was please forgive me I'm so sorry but it was good only thing it needed more heat meaning hot not flavor but steam it was not served at a great temperature. Had it been I'm sure it would have been much more enjoyable. The next plate that came out was my sushi rolls and the way it was presented all made the difference. The prices were reasonable for that area. The decor in the bathroom was a bit outdated but colorful. The decor leading into the bathroom as you seen the picture has this blue circular lights which is cute and not cute because that's kind of outdated as well but it all brought to of being comfortable and that's why I really enjoyed about it. Everyone was friendly willing to assist and the majority of people working the floor spoke English well. Would I return Yes I would. But don't take my word for it go then experience it yourself and tell me what you think.
