Our go-to local Italian place. Staff is wonderful, and so is the food. Pastas and meats are my favorite. Kids love the desserts. Focaccia is to die for.

We tried four dishes and all four were bland/no flavour. Even the Parmesan cheese had no taste or scent; everything was tasteless! Don’t even bother with the dessert, chocolate cake was frozen!

This is a friend’s neighborhood favorite, I thought it was OK, maybe a cut above basic red sauce Italian but with prices like they have two Michelin stars. Service was a little spotty, food was competent…

Came here for a company dinner. Got the salmon and soup. The complimentary bread with olive oil was delicious. The servers were very attentive

Great ambiance, great service. They brought us out a piece of cake free of charge, which was a nice touch. I gave it 4 stars because it’s pricey and portions are medium size. I like family style Italian with the option to get half portion.

Amata is a delicious Italian restaurant. It’s a Midtown gem of the neighborhood! The ambiance is good, the food delightful and the service outstanding!!! I’m sure I’ll go again.

Great food & Excellent service.. Ordered the Risotto with mushroom and it tasted great. Will definitely go back to dine again..Eggplant parmigiana was pretty good too..
