AMC 34th Street 14

Large theater 14 screens with great decor including in their clean bathrooms, an actual bar !!! , good amount of food and snack options. Some of the screens have nice controllable recliner chairs. Location is great as there is great public transport right outside the theater M34 bus and 1 2 3 subway lines, along with Penn station. The restrooms are on the top floor though.

Huge disappointment. +Pros. Location is great, and the building itself is beautiful. Popcorn station is located conveniently. - Cons. It is really dirty. Both my and a sit next to me on both sides, cup holders were completely filled with tissues and a small bottle of something and trash. Also there was trash on the tray/table as well. And the worst of all was the bathroom. Only one bathroom works mind you this is a 4 levels theater, and that bathroom half of the doors are broken 4 to be exact. And again it was disgusting. Chair are also extremely uncomfortably close, and it is not as close as in any other amc theater on Manhattan. Overall will not be back even though it is a most convenient location for me, I will rather take a subway and go somewhere else.

This location has dolby and imax and digital also has 3D. Huge complex. The seats are recliner if you go to dolby and the screens are pretty big. The tickets go till $25-$30. The seats are comfortable and huge entertainment. You will able to get liquor on this location too, so you can drink and watch movie. Being a- list member gives a lot of benefits too. Happy watching movie.

Great movie theater, has like 7 floors of theaters. If you can ever go to IMAX I highly recommend it. It is a solid 10/10 over here. But it would cost you 25 USD per person to watch something. Still it’s a great theater and I love coming here.

It was an amazing time! It was hot 88 degrees day outside and the AC inside was cranking. I saw Dragonball Super: Super Hero on iMAX and what a great movie/ experience it was. The staff was friendly, the theater wasn’t crowd movie started at 12:30pm on a Tuesday and the audio sound quality/ screen quality was on point for an iMAX experience. Theater was clean, seats were sanitized was tasty and was cold.

I love the renovation this theater made! It's my favorite movie theater now! The seats are comfortable and recline! The way they built it makes it so that no one can kick your chair and you can't see anyone in front of you. It's great! Also, if you have to use the bathroom, there is enough room so that you don't have to climb over anyone during the movie! And there are two exits for each theater! Making it even more convenient. I'm coming here for ALL my movies!

Great location, big and looks new. We were here for Avatar 3D. The seats are not that comfy because you can not lay down. The staff was only 3 stars service with a bit rude attitude giving out 3D glasses.

Had an amazing experience at this location. The movie theater was cleaned and well kept compared to other locations such as the amc at bay plaza shopping, Harlem and on 84th street. The location is also in one of the most urban location downtown Manhattan. The only downside compared to that of Bay plaza shopping mall is the lack of parking area for anyone driving. All in all, I had an amazing experience in general, the staffs were friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have. Just come experience this urban location with your loved ones and I promise you'll never regret coming here.

On my visit, the place was very clean, including the restroom. Staff was friendly. The concession stand had enough workers there for lines to move quickly. Love the adjustable heating reclining seats. There is plenty of room between rows for these seats to recline. Removing one star because this large place does not have restrooms and concessions on every floor. As other reviewers have mentioned, that can be a pain, especially when carrying multiple items from the concession stand.

This theatre looks fantastic with a mix of old school photos and modern movie banners. The sits are extremely comfortable, image and sound are top quality
