I was not impressed at all! The location is convenient, the actual building and theater is beautiful. However, there is very little parking and the staff is not friendly! While buying tickets my son had to use the restroom, he was told he could not use the bathroom until he had a ticket. Really??? Then, when we got upstairs to order food, the young man behind the counter did not hear my order the first or the second time and turned to me to say, "What?" So, when I corrected him and asked would it be so hard to say, "Would you please repeat that?" He got mad, rolled his eyes and say, "How can I help you?"...With an attitude! If this was not enough when I went to end of the counter to pick up my food, the young lady gave me the wrong order. I told her it was wrong. She said "Will this is what they charged you for, so..." I waited. Thinking she would go and verify that the order was correct, but she stood there looking at me like I did something wrong. So, I said to her, " Instead of telling me what I ordered, how about you apologize and correct it." Then she got mad walked off then came back with the right order. I didn't even want to stay to see the movie after all that. But I had already paid for two tickets, food, drinks and $20 parking. Never again!!! I could have watched a movie at home and saved $100!!! Oh and did I mention the lobby and bathroom was dirty??? Ok, I'm done!

Great location, easily accessible by the T (local metro bus or train transportation). It has a sit down bar to enjoy becore or after a show depending on time you attend a show. Its very easy to see from the street (in front of the building only). It is large with plenty viewing time option. It is one of my favorite Boston theatre locations. However, it is disappointing the the cost of admission is reflective of its location; significantly higher than other theatre locations.

Nice theatre, always clean and good service. There are two levels and a large concession stand on the second floor. Popcorn butter is do-it-yourself. They have a great deal on $7 movie tickets for all shows before noon. Conveniently located near the orange, green and red lines across from the Boston Common. This has been the new location for Saturday midnight Rocky Horror Picture Show since the Harvard Square theatre closed. *Accessibility: Ramped entrance, elevator and escalator inside. Wheelchair space and companion seating in theatres.

I am at the AMC Theater in downtown crossing as we speak. As I wait in line for my food I asked if they had the caramel corn and the young man that was the cashier quickly said there were none, which was a lie. When me and my friend went to the pick up spot to pick up her food, there were caramel corn and I asked the young lady that was serving my friend and she said “ yes we have some, and the guy that was serving probably did not want to come get it”. This is absurd, I expected better costumer service since I always come to this theather. You guys need to do better and I’m nice enough to not ask for manager and just let it go because I didn’t want to wait in line again and miss my movie. Next time it won’t be this easy. I advise you guys to change the crew and train them to have better costumer service skills.

Could of just been the theater we were in, not sure, but it was a bit small. But the whole place is great! Love the old movie posters along the walls and the very classic feeling of the place. Great theater and great location as well.
