Trash everywhere, horrible management, super disappointed in the new community near cape Seville place. Houses are cheaply made, echoes like crazy, can hear dogs bark from nextdoor neighbors and feels like dog is actually in our house. I reached out to the new property manager Mariah Rone about the trash issue from construction and she replied it's not an issue. Look at photos to confirm that this is not an issue...
We just moved in 3 days ago. I sent photos to the property manager because it has not been freshly painted. I’m 6 months pregnant and I had to clean the house myself. It’s so upsetting, the walls are all different tones of tan and there are gashes and cracks everywhere. Great home to bring a newborn baby into. The toilets are disgusting inside. I still haven’t heard anything back on sending people to paint it.
I had a great experience with this company. Everyone I worked with was very kind and responsive. The first contact I had was Stariesha, and she helped me understand the process. She was nice and thorough with her explanation of navigating the website and what I needed to do. I actually rented this house sight unseen due to being several hundred miles away. The pictures did not do the home justice at all; upon moving in the house was nicer than I anticipate and was very clean. Most of the appliances were new or barely used and they left all the instructions or manuals for me to read. The entire process was simple and I'm a happy customer. The only feedback I would provide is they should hire a better photographer to showcase the home better. But since the house was in great condition, I didn't mind at all.
I recommend anyone who is looking to lease a home should apply through AH4R. It was such an easy process getting qualified. Also another cool and considerate thing I appreciated with the staff is that even if your income didn't qualify for the home you wanted they will provide you a price range that qualify for to get approved. Also I want to give major kudos to my leasing consultant Micah Matthews as well, his customer service skills are super awesome!! He always responded back to my emails or returned my phone calls asap, and had major patience with me because I was very indecisive in regards finding the perfect home for me and my 3 daughters. Even when he was off work, his coworkers assisted me as well with excellent customer service!! The turn time for the underwriter to review and approved my application was super quick as well. 2 Thumbs up and 5 Stars to AH4R!!! You Guys totally Rock!!!
We moved into our house in May of 2018. The management was quick to help and accommodate when service issues would arise, at first. Unfortunately, the rent has increased every year and the management service has declined exponentially every year also. The staff are pompous and condescending when you call and take at least a week to call back. I had a dispute for a bill that nobody could explain to me. When I questioned the bill, I got the run around and told that I just needed to pay it. It took 5 different calls, from 3 different individuals and countless emails to where I finally decided to pay the bill and be done with these people. The fence was falling apart in the back yard and they hired the cheapest company to come and repair it. They did such a great job that the fence fell down a week later and we had to call and have American Homes 4 Rent call the second cheapest contractor to come out and fix it. Rent has increased so much that we can no longer afford to live here. This entire company has gone down the drain so fast and I would NOT recommend anyone renting with them in the future. We are moving at the end of our lease and telling everyone that we know to NEVER recommend anyone they know also. But they have the nerve to send me an email requesting a "positive experience" review on Google.
The worst management service company ever! Should be named Delay and Rip off homes for rent. It was promising at first to prior to getting into the house. Once in the headache it's been since is insane. First a broken water pipe that caused a leak downstairs in the living room, which took forever for a plumber to come by and fix, by the way this was shortly before Christmas so if any issues around the holiday good luck, mind you it was a leak, secondly the cheap contractors come in wanting to tear nearly everything down to get their pay having loud fans for drying and family visiting for the holidays along with working from home not to mention the inconvenience and having to reschedule meetings affecting our income. Spoke with property manager Veronica Gomez who said to submit in writing for possible compensation for it to only be reviewed and denied. Request a re-review clearly they can see how long it took for repairs and to this day no response on that. Finally got everything fixed after almost 2 months. Even the last plumber they sent out said the pipe issue was from when it happened previously but wasn't fixed properly. AH4R specialize in cosmetic fixtures. Fixing things just enough to get by to rip off the next struggling family. I haven't even gotten to the toilet issue that happened maybe 2 months after the water pipe issue, and today's issue is waking up to AC not working!
I was the one calling to know whether I got approved or when I signed papers to security deposit. It would be nice if someone would call me. But I did have the pleasure of talking to Micah. He s amazing. He helped me from the time I was having trouble with log in, to applying, to basically every step after. You need more people like him. Had I not have called I don't know when I would have been emailed a response. Now patiently waiting on my move in date.
I have just moved to Vegas and have been working with Kathleen Hipsher from American Homes For Rent and she has been nothing short of amazing. She has made this experience for me so comfortable and easy. She helped me every step of the way with any and everything I needed from her. She has answered all of my questions and put me at ease. I can't thank her enough for all of her help and professionalism. We will be moving into our new home soon and I feel like she is a major part of my journey. Thank you so much Kathleen, I appreciate you so much!
So far I have had a mostly pleasant experience with ah4r. Staff is helpful and seem to genuinely listen to concerns. The only issues I've had so far have been with the moving-in process; I had to follow up with management for every step since they would not reach out via email or phone like they said they would, and the house was not entirely move-in ready minor wall damage as well as broken gate and appliances. However, most issues were addressed promptly and efficiently by staff only days after submitting work orders which is a quick and painless process. I want to give a shout out to the star employee who helped us out, David Marcus! He was very knowledgeable and helpful
10/10!! I’m not joking either from the fact that I can let my self into any home I’d like to tour on my own schedule to my experience with their employees Especially Alicia she was so amazing I have loved my experience applying to rent with this fantastic company. The “let your self in” option is definitely a game changer and I was extremely happy with every tour we have taken. Their website was easy to navigate and they answered extremely fast to my emails and questions as well. I hope we will be renting from this company soon. I can’t recommend them enough!
