American Legion Post No 8

The only legion in DC currently with a lounge. Very nice people! very cool location check it out!

I stopped in for a couple of drinks on my vacation and was quickly met with the same family experience that I enjoy at my home post. Post 8 Commander Jason introduced himself, and came and chatted with us for a while, I do love my American Legion family!

Great place for a large party

Nice place for Vets and friends. Good people enjoy one another's company. Membership advised.

We had a nice visit here, they were very friendly, and accommodating. Drinks were legion priced, and pretty tasty as well, what we needed to help celebrate the 4th of July with fellow legion members

Saturday bingo is the best

Well I'm a club member, so. Anyone can visit, though, and the drinks are reasonable and the commaraderie is exceptional. Parking is funky though.

Best place on Capitol Hill - IF you qualify to be a member. Nothing compares to the fun, great people, cheap prices, strong pours, & LACK of pretentiousness on the Hill than the Legion!

Great group of people frequent here. Large adjoining room with bar great for private events.

Great place, great prices. Nice area to rent for gatherings. Need some food though. Pot lucks are amazing.
