Tubs not clean,no remote for the TV, I had to go to the front desk to get a remote, carpet dirty, heater stinks, to many drugs in and around hotel!Rooms: 2/5
Nice motel for the price. The carpet seemed dirty, and the blankets had cigarette burns in them we specifically asked for a smoking room, so this isn't a big deal. A/C worked wonders, shower was excellent. Employees were friendly, and it's right across the street from several restaurants and stores. The free breakfast consisted of Two styles of cereal, room temperature milk, strange miniature muffins with a taste we couldn't place, and an assortment of half-stale pastries. But for the price you shouldn't expect too much My only major complaint is the fact that during our two night stay, I received 9 bites from a mystery bug. Now, I want to be very clear these are NOT bed bugs bites. We tore the bed apart twice, as well as took the headboard off the wall, and found no evidence of any bed bugs. We believe the bites are from a spider but are not positive. All in all I am pleased with our stay, and would definitely consider staying here again.
I had a wholly an enjoyable experience at this hotel, made all the more pleasant by the employee /owners. Found a used hypodermic needle in the cushion of a care. The front desk was pretty incredulous when I waged complaint. It seems as though their opinion is that I had planted it there. As if a complimentary hotel room was of the same value as a used syringe. I should have just been happy with the free hypodermic oh, and the accompanying autoimmune disease.
This has been the worst stay I’ve ever had, i asked for a none smoking room, upon entering the room, it smelled like someone has been smoking there for years. With further investigation the sheets had dead bugs and also had burned marks and holes in them. The guy at the front did not care at all, he was rude and very dismissive. Their continental breakfast is a joke, they give you stale donuts and water down orange juice. This place is literally falling apart. I’ll probably get a very genetic reply about thanking me for my input, but it seems that everyone writes the same thing and nothing changes, you can go back a year and is the same. If you want to grow your business invest on it. And make sure rooms are truly smoke free.
Dirty but the most expensive they only make black people pay a deposit, it's now called Rodeway and the owners are still the same. The wife is very rude with a smile.
Don't stay here. While neat, the floors left my feet black, in my room. Further, the amount paid for this budget hotel was equivalent to higher rated and much better hotels in the area and the breakfast was abominable. Plus, I KNEW a blanket I had been sewing was left there, knew where it was, and they said they would call back. Nothing. I called twice. They did not acknowledge they had it and we know it is there. Further, the clientele is definitely not the most safe and I felt like we were in the ghetto. Drive a little further for better choices. This is NOT an honest hotel.
The room was not cleaned well there was trash and cobwebs behind the night stands and cobwebs all around the room and bathroom, the lamps were broken and hanging off the walls, the shower had mold in several places and the bedding had cigarette burns on it and the sheets would not stay on the bed. When we went to breakfast there was nothing but cereal and coffee. The shower had NO pressure and would go from hot to cold. Was not a horrible place just needs cleaning staff that takes pride in there work.
Side walks, foot paths upstairs & downstairs are covered in bird shyt, the stairs. Both chairs in my room are stained with everything life offers. HEATER doesn't work, one of the light fixture wires were cut. Continental breakfast was truly pathetic. Only thing that wasn't old/stale was the cereal. DON'T stay here..until they remodel this old outdated hotel. Better options within walking distance. Please don't respond by apologizing. Fix your property, or sell it to someone that will take care of it
Big Blood stains on the floor, burn holes on the mattress, and was then moved into another room and the 2nd room had roaches. Will not be going back and will not recommend to anyone.
You get what you pay for only we should've paid a few bucks more for something 10x better. I do appreciate that we were allowed an early check in, but the room wasn't really that clean. It had a weird smell and felt like a horror movie. The people at the office were nice enough but it doesn't make up for the poor room. Would be 1 star, but they were nice and the early check in bumped it up.
