Comfortable smooth ride and easy to get work done. Also, beautiful scenery in Virginia - friendly (and funny) crew with convenient parking right next to the Roanoke station. Roanoke is a city on the rise and the train is a game changer for the region- now we have a thankful alternative to sometimes nightmare drives on the 81. On the section of track between DC and NYC, the train reached a top speed of 122mph on the best maintained track sections in the USA.

Love to travel on Amtrak instead of driving to Massachusetts. Comfortable seating. No hassle check in. Great price!

When they pull that pre-packaged food, you'll be happily surprised that your expectations were exceeded. Plugs, wi-fi, and quiet cars on the second floor...SAY NO MORE! Lol, but, please go in the quiet car, fall asleep and snore. Lol.
