Staples Mill Road Station

Beautiful time quick in and out stop for few minutes and we were on our way Buzz have to stay there snacks drinks and other commodities for The Travelers

This station is old, dirty, torn seats, some patched with duck tape. This station needs Updates from Amtrak. There are two outlets in the entire station and one of those is outside. The restrooms are closed and “temporarily outside” in 30 degree weather how accommodating . Amtrak, you need to fix this. You’d get no stars from me if this site would allow it .

By all means get something to drink or snack before you get to the station, there is nothing around except for the Snack Shack which is overpiced and terrible quality products. 2 dollars for a bottle of water ( ON TOP OF THAT AQUAFINA has to be the worst water and cheap) I have to return the 2 dollar coffe because was lightly flavor dirty water. Not easy to access if you have to much luggage, and is my third time with train delays over 30 minutes. I'll said avoid this station I certainly will next time

Came here for the first station couple days ago. Pretty simple set up. Just a large room with a help desk, lots of seating space, and a counter where you can buy snacks and drinks. A person announces on the loudspeaker how much time until a train is arriving and when you should go outside to board, so you probably shouldn't have your headphones in when you're waiting. Not the most well-kept place, but that's not really a problem. There's also construction going on at this station currently, so be aware of that.

It took the staff at the ticket counter 5 minutes to sell one ticket. It was unbelievable. We have traveled by train a lot, but had never seen such slow service at the ticket booth. We arrived 10 minutes before train departure, had three people in front of us in line and would be late for the train if it didn't arrive 10 minutes behind the schedule. The boarding was smooth and professionally organized.
