Amy's Hallmark Shop

I guess this will be my last visit to Amy's Hallmark shop at Cotswold Mall. Sorry to read they are going out of business. It will be a long ride to go to the couple other Hallmark stores in the Carolinas. They will be missed.

I believe I've been a Crown Rewards member since 1998. Since the Hallmark store near UNCC closed years ago, this store has been my favorite location. I only go to other locations if I'm in their area & can't make it here in time. They probably have the best Mahogany selections. The employees here seem to be genuinely pleasant & eager to assist you. In other locations, pleasantries seem forced or are nonexistent. For the first time, I purchased cards online. My purchase was on Cyber Monday. I ordered 2 regularl cards & 1 Christmas card. All 3 cards were set to be shipped to the store. I was notified via email that 1 card had arrived but the other 2 would be there later in the week. I called the store to ask if I could wait to pick everything up together. The woman I spoke to said that was fine. I called again on 12-12 before going to the store. I wanted to ensure all items in the order were there. I can't remember the lady's name; she was also my cashier once I got to the store. On the phone, she told me they'd tried to call me the day before to let me know my order was ready, but the number was disconnected. I told her how long I'd been a rewards member & that I suspected they had a very old phone number on my profile. I started reciting my old number & she finished the last 4 digits. I picked up the order & bought a few additional things in the store. She didn't know if seals had been included with my order, so she gave me additional gold crown seals. You'd have to know me to know how much I love those seals. I've been told by people that I should make my own cards. Until then, Hallmark is my place for cards for all occasions, especially this store.

Quite a wide selection of cards for every taste and budget. Pleasantly surprised at the availability of funny and inexpensive cards as well as an over supply of syrupy trite ones. I was impressed and comforted when another patron came shoulder to shoulder with me and an associate politely asked her to move away all without embarrassing me. Glad to see this store succeeding in these trying times.

Better service than the one in afton Ridge. No customer service there. No one greets u and they don't say thank been there 3cs spent over 55.00 each time. Now I found another Amy's Hallmark store. Maybe they just don't like black people. Because they smile and talk to all white clients that are in front of me. Then I put my products up no smile no greeting. I put reviews in all 3xs nothing so I don't spend my hard earn money were I am not appreciative.

I only called here. Abby was very polite & helpful. The store did not have what I was looking for but she was kind enough to offer an alternative selection. I appreciate her excellent service. I recommend this store for its service. KP

Had a wonderful shopping experience because the STAFF are super helpful and they know their inventory. The colorful and beautiful presentation of store displays "grab" your attention from the cards to the gift items. I will definitely be back to shop!

This is a very nice store... The employees are very nice and very helpful. This store sells greeting cards for every holiday and occasions, such as birthday and anniversary. They also sell Christmas tree ornaments , candles and other nice gifts. They also stock the Vera Bradley bag line,also wallets, and luggage. This is a wonderful store, located in Cotswold Village. katie Brett

Update: 1/7/2022 Another Hallmark is closing. This location will be closing on February 23. They are offering 50% off on a lot items. The customer service is still excellent. So sad that another location is closing. I'm so glad that there a few Halmarks left. They closed the one that was close to my house. It's my favorite place to get any type of card that I'm looking for. The customer service at this Hallmark was excellent. I will return.

Awesome staff and I love the feel of warmth in this location. They always greet customers and they don't smother you when looking through the store.

I took a recordable book to exchange for a different one. I had recieved twenty present off on my purchase, the first time of three books. They wouldn't give me the discount on exchange of this one. I explained I was exchanging the book. The manager said to the cashier, "If she dosen't have the coupon well oh poop!" I had to full price for the book. This was done in front of me. Customer service was the worst!.
