Former employee here. Very hard working conditions. We weren't allowed to sit or even lean on the counter. 8 hours of walking or standing straight. And it was so awkward trying to get people interested in buying something expensive. If they looked around and found something interesting themselves, cool. But the manager wanted us talking to the customers, which, according to some of the reviews and my own intuition annoyed them. Unfortunately, the pay was commission based, so I wouldn't have been paid much unless I sold something expensive. It was humiliating. Sometimes there would be cool customers. A part of this job is meeting people who travel around the world everyday. But there would be lots of customers who were so rude to me if I greeted them or wrapped a gift for them and the manager never stood up for me. I'm seeing a few messages about people being followed and having security called on them by the manager. I believe it. That same manager fired my brother for "stealing something" on a shift he wasn't even in for. Not only that, there was an incident where a frat kid came in and stole a Yeti mug worth near $100, and when I told the manager, she said it wasn't our job to chase after stolen merchandise. So thinking someone will steal something warrants security, but actually doing so doesn't even warrant a call for security. Obviously she had a problem with how the people who came into her store looked. And if you can see my profile picture, you can tell that me and my brother were dark skinned. After that I quit. I'm glad the store is no longer there.

Absolutely horrific customer service. As soon as I walked in I was followed by who I suspect is the manager, Susan. As she followed me around the store I was often given angry looks. After around 10 minutes, she called security and had them stand by the door and watch my every move. When I confronted her about it, she rudely told me that I had nothing to fear if I was not doing anything wrong and that it was “None of my business”. This store has absolutely zero respect for its customers.

Terrible place walked in and instantly had a employee staring at me like she didn’t trust me and then few minutes went by and there was 3 security guards outside the store. Susan is a terrible employee.
