My great grandma made my mother's wedding dress. So for me to wear the dress was an honor. Over 30yrs my mother's dress changed to a yellow color so I knew I would have to change some things on it but try to keep as much as I could. I went to one tailor and that was a huge mistake. They didn't know what they were doing. So in desperate mode, I found Anastasia Contour. She speaks with kindness, experience, knowledge and passion for her work. Anastasia loves what she does and her work proves it. She managed to fix what the previous tailor failed to do and had the dress fit me perfectly! My only complaint is that I didn't find Anastasia first. I'm posting this before my wedding so all I have are progress photos.

Anastasia altered my mother’s wedding dress to perfection! My mama passed away this year and I wanted to wear her dress at my wedding to honor her. I was nervous about getting the dress altered but after meeting with Anastasia, I immediately knew I could trust her to make my mom’s dress, my dream dress! Anastasia was thorough, detailed, and worked very hard to make this dress come out so beautifully. Not only is her work fantastic, she is also very kind and friendly. I had the absolute best experience with Anastasia!!! I came to her a few short months before my wedding, and my dress was HUGE on me. She reassured me and finished the dress SO FAST! I felt so comfortable and not stressed because of her. Also, she did an AMAZING job - truly my dress fits like a glove now. Couldn’t be more thankful for such a trustworthy seamstress!

Would give 10/5 stars if I could. Anastasia is the sweetest, most adorable person ever. Not only is she super kind-- she is a consummate professional & a master of her craft. Her credentials are impressive and her final product was perfect. My mom & I had pretty complex alteration needs and she did them both super quickly and they came back looking PERFECT. Not to mention-- we had a great time with her during those fitting sessions. AND not only does she do incredible alterations, her own designs are BEAUTIFUL. She has her work displayed and her creativity and skill was just incredible to look at.

I had the best experience with Anastasia. She is so incredibly knowledgeable about wedding gown styles, materials, and how the alteration process works. I had some concerns about my dress when trying it on and she was able to fix and address all of the things i wanted to be done on my dress. She is so sweet and a joy to work with! If you want your dress to fit like a glove and look perfect!! GO SEE HER!!

Anastasia is truly the best. She rescued my wedding dress! The bridal shop where I initially purchased my dress assured me that a corset/bra could be seamlessly altered in, and they claimed they could handle it. However, it turned out they couldn't make this change effectively. As someone with a fuller chest, proper support was crucial, and after numerous failed alteration appointments, tears, and even contemplating buying a new dress, I decided to take my dress mid-alterations from the original shop and sought out Anastasia. Thank goodness for finding this sweet soul. Feeling disheartened and struggling with body issues after being told by previous seamstresses that I was "just too big," Anastasia's kindness was a breath of fresh air. She immediately made me feel better in my dress and assured me that the necessary changes could be made. Anastasia skillfully built in the support I needed, and on my wedding day, I felt both supported and beautiful in my dress. Her craftsmanship is exceptional, and her kindness shines through. My only regret from the wedding is that I didn't discover her earlier for alterations or to create a custom dress for me. The other dress shops led me to believe that alterations were a simple task, all in pursuit of making a sale. Now, understanding the complexity of modifying my dress into something it wasn't, I realize that opting for a custom dress from the beginning would have been a better and easier choice. If you have alteration or custom dress needs, don't hesitate to visit Anastasia; she's truly incredible.

Anastasia was absolutely amazing! I didn't know where to start when it came to getting the alterations done for my wedding dress, and searching through the many tailors in the Houston area was overwhelming not to mention reading the horror stories about some places from other brides made me nervous. I saw that Anastasia came up very often in Bridal groups on Facebook with nothing but rave reviews, so I decided to take my dress to her. I am 100% blown away by her work! She was very fast, she communicated with me throughout the whole process, the alterations she did on my dress were PERFECT, and her attention to detail and craftsmanship was astounding. I highly recommend Anastasia Couture a thousand times over! Thank you so much, Anastasia, you truly are the best!!!

Anastasia was a joy to work with! She altered two dresses for my wedding and they both came out beautifully. She is meticulous in her tailoring and was very committed to the best final result and was patient when I changed my mind on something. She has the advantage of being a dress designer, so she fully understands all the fundamentals of how gowns are put together. She also always runs on time and there was never a wait. The long drive from downtown to the Woodlands was 100% worth it.

Anastasia altered my wedding dress for me and it was amazing. The dress fit like a gloved and the bustle was great. Her pricing is very fair and she does an amazing job. Would highly recommend.
