Andina

This has to be my favorite place in Portland. The service is spot on, the atmosphere is perfect and the menu stays the same (which I love) as we have been going here for 10+ years and it literally is perfect EVERY time. I would suggest doing tapas (small plates) so you can share as many options as possible. I absolutely love this place and recommend it to anyone who comes in town or asks me where to eat in Portland. Great people and great food, there's not much more needed....

I love Andina Restaurant for their unique Peruvian foods that have so much flavor! Their salsas are super flavorful and their ceviche is so fresh and the real deal. The atmosphere is very upscale, but with very friendly service so that you don't feel uncomfortable. Many times we've brought out of town guests to Andina to showcase the Portland food scene and I think everyone has been super impressed! Did I also mention they have great mixed drinks, especially those that are Peruvian style ones. Love love love this place! Yes, it can be a bit pricey, but for what you're getting compared to San Francisco restaurants of the same caliber, I think it's a steal! I'm so happy to have Andina here in Portland.

Love this place. 9/10 for the food and the cocktails. It gets very loud on the weekend so be prepared. They also have live music. Slightly too crowded for my liking. I would remove a few tables from the dinner area to make it more pleasant. Still worth it! Perfect for a special night!

This is a consistently excellent restaurant that offers both innovative and traditional Peruvian food. Peru has a deep food history owing to its diverse ecosystem and position as a crossroads in South America. Great for both meat and vegetable dishes. The owners have a great passion for their work. It is a great place to go for a special meal.

I had a great meal here. It's mainly South American small plates. Lots of interesting seafood choices. One of our party ordered a dish they didn't like, and the server removed it from the bill. I would definitely go back.
