The ube crinkle cookies were insane! Sooooo good. We got ensemada which were good as well...I got the pepperoni bread for some nostalgia and lastly a babinka that was great too. Nice clean interior and friendly bright staff. We will return.
Ok, I didn’t know what to expect here because I wasn’t familiar with Filipino food - but this was AMAZING. Food: Definitely try their Ube bread - it is sweet, but not too sweet - the filling is purple sweet potato that they’ve made into a type of sugary paste. It comes warm - I got there right before they closed and it still tasted fresh. They make everything homemade right on that day. They have tons of other types of bread as well - I tried quite a few, and you really can’t go wrong. Service: I told the woman at the counter that it was my first time, and she gave me a “tour” of all of the breads, going through each one, telling me what was in it, what it tasted like, etc. she was SO nice and very helpful. Price: Affordable. Paid $2-$3 per piece of bread and it allowed me to try a lot of them. The bread is also a significant size, and some portions come with multiple pieces. Highly recommend trying this to anyone who’s new - tho it might spoil you cuz after eating these, your standards will be high!
A hidden gem in VB! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. It was my first time in a Filipino bakery, and the woman behind the counter described almost everything behind the counter. Everything was reasonably priced and just delicious. They make everything fresh daily. You can tell there are some are some seriously passionate and skilled baker's behind the scenes. I will be returning regularly!
We were from out-of-state as per Google’s recommendation - Angie’s bakery serves yummy breads. We dropped by about 11am & bought heaps to try. Kallani was courteous & helpful. The bakery is clean & well-lighted. For me the top 4 were - 1. Spanish/Senorita Bread the best - we bought this fresh from the oven 2. Pork Siopao 3. Pandesal 4. Pepperoni Bread. Did not like the Custard bun,Ube bread. For the Hopia Monggo, Baboy, Ube - Monggo flavor was the best. Their Hopia - flaky, thick crust with not-so-sweet fillings I like mine sweet though . Better call ahead if you have specific bread to buy. They accept pre-order. If you pay using a credit card - there is a 3% charge. Highly recommended! If you find this review helpful, kindly like . Thanks.
Very very very very slow service. Everyone just smiles and watches the cashier/packer/greeter taking her time with one customer at a time. I was there for 30 minutes. In a bakery, no I didn't get the cappuccino.the barista was actually very fast but customer timing needs to be better. Please help each other, get us out of there in 10 minutes or less. Please for the love of bakery God's.
Every time we visit Virginia Beach, I have been coming here for a very long time. Love this location. Delicious and reasonably priced. A welcoming staff. Absolutely love the new ube latte. Headed there today
My husband ordered an ube bibingka for my birthday and when we went in to pick it up the staff was so sweet and wonderful!! They even sang happy birthday to me. We already loved Angie's but we love it even more now. The surface of the bibingka is enormous and held the 33 candles with ease!! Thank you Angie's!
AMAZING place! The only time I'm disappointed is when they're out of something. These custard buns were flipping delicious! Their pepperoni rolls are our favorite.
It's been a while since I've been there. Today, the store looked so appealing that I thought I was in a different store. Service and presentation is so very professional.
The staff here is sooo nice! It was hard not to buy one of everything, which wouldn't have been TOO bad since the prices are really great. I thought the coco bread especially was AMAZING and had me hooked from my first bite. The store was very cute and very clean, and had two comfy chairs for sitting in. I would definitely say anyone should stop by Angie's, earlier in the day especially since both times I've gone they have been steadily busy! Makes sense because everything is SO GOOD.
