Anil Gullapalli, MD

Contrary to the positive reviews, I had one of the worst experience with this doctor. I went to see Dr. Gullapalli for a throat infection causing severe pain and lymph node enlargement. Dr. Gullapalli is highly arrogant and insensitive to patients personal medical history, and only cares about following the protocol. Even after revealing to him that I had an immune compromised history with severe viral and bacterial infection and had to fly back to home country to see the top infectious specialist in my country, he mocked me and said: “well this is US, the only infection we treat is Strep, for other bacterial infections we don’t even treat them because they will get resolved on its own.” Setting aside how wrong this argument is, I try to explain to him my history of infection and how it was treated before, he just stared at me indifferently and questioned my intention to see doctor. I left the office with tears in my eyes and massive disappointment. I don’t think I will ever pay a visit to this location, despite of other potentially amazing doctors who work there. Thankfully I was able to find medicines on my own otherwise the infection may get much worse. If you are overall healthy, with occasional illness that fall perfectly into the standard protocol of treatment, then you may find Dr. Gullapalli a great fit, otherwise, you might want to avoid him.

Excellent bedside manner and all around stellar doctor. You can tell he really cares about his patients.

Truly an amazing Doctor , who takes his time and is always on time! Shows care, compassion and always listens to my needs. My previous Dr. and I were together for over 25 years, so I was nervous switching Doctors; but when I met with Dr. Gullapalli; I felt as though I had been with him for years.

What to say? Dr. Gullapalli is by far and away the best PCP I've ever had. Wonderful listener, down to earth, genuine, and exceptionally kind. One cannot ask for much else.

Not sure where all these good reviews came from. I relied on them in making my decision and regret it. This was my worst experience with a PCP, ever. I don’t want to go into further detail for fear of being identified, but I left this meeting with incorrect information in my file, having to repeatedly ask for the referrals I’d requested, and in tears after insensitive comments. Maybe good if you’re used to incompetency.

Dr. Gullapalli cared for our entire family, infants, toddler, and grownups. He is a super caring, conscientious physician - and an outstanding patient advocate too.

Dr Gullapali is one of the best doctors a patient could ask for. He truly cares about his patients.
