Ankeny Dental Arts

Ever since I moved to Des Moines I’ve been searching for a good dentist. I have pretty bad dental anxiety and always get so nervous! I could not be happier with my experience at Ankeny Dental Arts. It’s truly the best team and the best care. Every 6 months they are so kind, do a wonderful job, and are patient with my anxiety and sensitivity. Won’t ever go anywhere else!

Highly reccomend this dentist. I was referred here by a specialist to get an exam done, and frankly it's been great ever since. They have become my regular dentist! Anna - the receptionist is SUPER nice, and totally awesome when I've been in there, very kind and polite! Not like any dental receptionist I've dealt with before. Dr. Wenger - My dentist, and she is the coolest dentist ever. Down to earth, skilled with her tools, and is good conversation! She cares about your smile, genuinely and takes good care with improving it! Take your teeth here, and they'll be taken care of!

I had my twice a yr checkup, teeth cleaned & full mouth/head xray5yr - everyone is friendly & kind. I was, also able to by the Oral B Electric Toothbrush for $50. So GLAD I switched to this Dental Office!

I hadn't been to a dentist in at least 10 years probably more and I was super anxious about going. Paula took great super great care of me: she was polite, personable, and didn't pass judgement on my mouth. She politely affirmed some of the good habits I knew I needed to pick up again. Dr. Wenger was also very polite and straightforward. They respected my goals of having healthy not straight and white teeth and never pushed me on products I didn't need. I'm going back to take care of cavities and I'm not nearly as apprehensive now. Edit: I returned to deal with my cavities on 12/12/22 and it was the best experience possible. Dr. Wenger and her assistant Katie were both fast and professional, and they were very patient with me I had to swallow a few times. As long as I'm in Des Moines, I won't be going anywhere else

They are great with kids!! Our first time dentist experience was a breeze! I’ve been going forever, always a good experience.

The entire team at Ankeny Dental Arts did an amazing job with my daughter. Highly recommend this office for all ages.

Very comfortable environment. The receptionists, hygienists and dentist all are very friendly and I feel relaxed when I am there.

They have very welcoming atmosphere. All the staff members were so nice.

I’ve had so much anxiety about going back to the dentist after many years as I’ve had poor experiences in the past. The staff was ALL so wonderful and friendly and made me feel at ease. I will never go anywhere else again. And I’ll start going when I’m supposed to again
