Normally has the supplies I need however they will not allow you to use your cosmetology discount without going on the opposite side of town to their sister store to register. Kind of a slap in the face to licensed professionals. I’ll continue using Tyson’s beauty where I’m given my discount as well as a rewards program for all customers.
This is my favorite hair store in the area. They always have a big selection and the people are friendly. They are always very nice to my kids when I bring them in with me. Nice people.
Just visited purchased a wig for thinnig hair. Lady was very helpful. Great prices. Synthetic but easy to were. Can't say how long it will last but for the price it doesn't matter.
My daughter and I went there Saturday. Poor customer service. We liked the wig on the mannequin. Two toned. Wanted a different twpo tone color. Thought we did. Got home ONE solid color. Called. They said they'd exchange. The old lady said we'd put oil sheen or tea tree oil on the wig. Tags still on. We won't go back there. Stuck with a wig I don't want.
I have been a customer for more than 10 years. They have a wide variety of everything! Hair products, lotions, facial products, wigs, reasonable prices. The gentlemen knows where things are located. They readily help and like another person commented, you feel welcomed and not like a suspected crook. I have never had a bad experience shopping there. This has been my go to beauty supply store because of their excellent customer service, then the products.
I saw reviews but chose to give them a chance. Was in the store for over thirty minutes and they were too busy watching the cameras instead of trying to help me. Then whenever I found a wig I like they didn't have the color on the mannequin. I will never go back. I'm really super aggravated with their customer service. Now I'm headed to Tisun as I usually do
Went to by my niece some braiding hair, all the hair packs were price at 9.99, get to the register and it she charges me 11.99. They state that “THEY” put the incorrect prices on ALL of the packages! Safe to say that I will not be back! Overcharging people simple because they can!!!
Excellent selection of products. Employees will approach you to see if you need help, but do not follow you around the store like you are suspicious. I used to drive out of my way to come to this store.
Great beauty supply store the owners have another location also on South Boulevard the East Boulevard location is the new one and it is well stocked with trending new products you may need. The store is nice and big. The prices are good and. the owner is cool, and open to ordering products for you that they may not have.
First, the soft spoken young man with the glasses who works there is always very kind and helpful. He's very pleasant. He is the only one there whose kind and helpful. Aside from him, I dont know why we continue giving our money to those who clearly have zero respect for us. The other 2 older employees, which may be the owners, are blatantly rude and treat us with such blatant disrespect. They also expect you to steal from them because in their minds, we are all thieves. I asked the older lady at the check out counter if she liked her job because she didnt say hello when I walked in, she did not acknowledge me, didnt ask me if I needed assistance, & didn't even crack a smile. Anyway, when I asked her if she liked her job, she replied that she had no choice. I didn't understand her reply so I asked her what did she mean, she has no choice. Clearly aggravated, she told me with a scowl that she has bills and expenses and so she has to work. I was probably wrong in my reply. I told her that everyone of us has bills, most of us have to work and alot of people like their jobs.. She basically shrugged and scowled at me, gave me my receipt and turned her back on me. Wow. Just wow. I understand that sometimes we don't like our jobs but I think that if you are providing a service to or cater to a certain or specific race, class, or society of people, at least try to be cordial. It won't kill you to smile or say hello....ask if you can be of assistance, I mean after all...you are "providing a service". Customer service is taboo....it is an urban myth. Over 90 percent or more of these beauty supply stores are owned by a particular race of people who seem to despise their key clientele.
