Annette's Westgate

What a great little restaurant!! Looking for a new breakfast place?!? Give this place a try. This is a popular West Salem place. I had the veggie Benedict with hash browns and my husband had The “Awesome biscuits and gravy”. This was not your normal biscuits and gravy. It had two thick cut slices of bacon and deliciously fried chicken on top. The entire staff was so nice. The service was faster than we expected considering they were busy! We will definitely be back!

Excellent fresh, hot food by Bryanowner&chef. I ordered The Classic Club Sandwich which was delicious and hand-served by the chef himself. Annette's has two dining areas; the main room and limited seating in the full-service bar where I dined. TVs and gambling games are available in the bar. Bryan's motto "We Love" is certainly true; my server was a personal, cheery delight. Restrooms, wheelchair ramps, are available. Masks required, cash or plastic accepted. Annette's is great home-cooked food with fresh quality ingredients. A place for the family or date night. Moderately priced, but well worth it! I will be back for more.

Food portions are large. A meal could satisfy two light eaters. Maybe even two medium eaters in a soft way. The employees are wonderful, attentive, endearing, and a couple of them truly strike me in an aesthetically alluring way. Pictured: Chicken & Waffles, Irish Coffee.

The breakfast here is killer! They have amazing GF pancakes and other really great GF options!! They even have a dedicated vegan menu! This is their GF Monte Cristo and the vegan breakfast nachos. So good!

So I thought I would try a new place and I loved the presentation of the food. The food was good, I plan on returning to try other dishes, but over all a good place to eat that I never knew about.

The waitress was fantastic. The place I heard is getting ready for a redecorate so for now it's plain, but clean. The food tasted great but it was only warm....other than that little bit, we really enjoyed it.Food: 4/5

This place is awesome from the service to the food. My God the food not only are the portions great but the flavor and overall awesomeness thanks for doing a great job.

I've given Annettes a pass several times during the pandemic. Labor shortages blah blah blah... Today, I used their new online ordering option. I ordered a Chicken Bacon Salad for $15.99 and ordered a extra side of ranch for $1.79. Adding in a 20% tip I spent just over $22 dollars. I arrived on time for pick-up according to the email. The restaurant was fairly busy. The hostess informed me it would be an additional 10 minutes. I waited 15 and inquired again. Yes it's ready! My $1.79 ranch was a 1-ounce cup! Ha! Is it laced with gold? And, my side of onions certainly have seen better days... Needless to say I was disappointed by my offering which came sans bag... Whatever, I'm starving and don't have access to my kitchen due to flooring being installed. I get halfway home and open the box to see what the actual salad looked like. Yum, as usual! However, my "free" included dressing was M.I.A. as was my damned garlic bread! Needless to say, I'm more than irritated! Whomever collected the tip on my order should have insured everything was there! And, the gals explanation that the reasoning behind the price in the tiny tiny ranch is, "The Roadhouse charges $2!!!" Ummm, WTAF? I've eaten at Annette's so many times and 8f you ask for a boat of ranch, they bring it. This time in done and I'm sharing. Shame on them!
