Had to get a document notarized for school, made an error when writing the zip and was told "if I was you I'd draw a line through it and write it over" which I did while she was watching. She proceeded to complete the document and one other page with my id and charged me $25 for the two pages ( was there a couple months before and paid $5 a page for a few documents). Paid my money and took my two page document to mail only to discover that YOU CAN'T make any alterations to a notarized document. I should have known better but was trusting their expertise. Went back in the next business day and explained what happened and was told "I would have told you that you were wasting your money cause you can't cross over on a document". She then proceeded to tell me I will have to pay $10 their discounted rate for her to redo the document. Seriously!!! Like why would I first of all want to waste my money but going ahead and letting you notarized a document that was not acceptable? Why would you lie to me when you said that I could have scratched it out? I am so disappointed in them and truly hope that they can improve on paying attention to the documents they are notarizing. I have other options will never go back there.

Went here with my mom, grandmother, and aunts as they had to have a auto title name transfer done (deceased name transfer required several signatures is reason our party was so large). My experience, observing the transaction, was prompt, smooth, and a lot less expensive than anticipated. They DO accept credit cards and cash I can say for certain.
The lobby had a section for children too which was great since my 2 kids were with us; small table with books and book rack (picture posted with this review).
Kids were pretty excited (running around and touching everything they could, mostly my curious 2 year old though). My 7 year old was running behind the 2 yr old trying to keep him out of trouble. Lol.
Impression I got from the lady behind the desk: they're used to having kids in there, so they aren't bothered by the noise, etc. My 2 year old ventured into unauthorized area (behind the desks & into the back) more than once, and while she DID say something about it, she was very polite. Even had kid toys/furniture in the back as if they bring their own kids there. Overall, family friendly atmosphere, nice customer service, affordable prices, flexible hours. I'd recommend it.

Very good experience. They were extremely helpful in explaining what it would take in order to simplify transfer of title across state lines. Much appreciated.

I am from Kansas. I married a girl from Zachary and moving here. I am in the process of transferring car, truck, two trailers and motorcycle titles to Louisiana.
I have sold properties in Kansas and handled the paperwork by mail and email with the help of Apple Notary. We will have our wills done here too. We have found them very helpful, patient and kind.

We went in to have a will notarized. The lady didn't even read the will, she said that this 10 page document that she didn't even open, read or look at was not legal in Louisiana. She said it was missing something. I asked what it was missing and she said I'm not telling you, that's how I make my money. Well this confuses me because I thought they make money notarizing things. I am obviously wrong in that assumption & that maybe why I was caught off guard with that comment. I still cannot grasp how you know something is legal or not if you do not even look at it. My suggestion would be that you should at least look at a document and care about your customers needs. If she had informed me that she writes wills and informed me of what was wrong with mine and offer to help me resolve the situation by writing a will & notarizing it, that would have been better (if they even do that there- I still don't know what they do there). Customer service makes a big difference in the success of a business . This could have been handled better.
