As a former employee of Aqua Leisure Pools I can definitely say while I loved the company I couldn’t stand the employees. Pete, my manager was great but the other staff were rude, lazy, and would sit on their phones most of their shift. After being the only one who seemed to care about their job and the fact that my hours were about to be cut I decided to start looking for a new job and quit because of the incompetence of the other employees. The male employee was rude to me at all times, never bothered to help unless was told to, would show up late and then immediately take his lunch break which would last up to an hour. When I would administer water tests he would fly through each one with out bothering to check if he made a mistake then would get mad at me for trying to correct it. I personally cared about everyone’s Pools and did my best to make sure all information was accurate whereas he did not. Even after multiple times of the other manager specifically telling him to let me do the tests on my own he continued to grab water bottles and rest them anyways, mixing up everyone’s bottles and confusing me. I loved working for this company and if it was not for that situation I would’ve continued working there. Pete is great but he needs to hire better employees if he wants a reputable store. There’s nothing wrong with hiring teenagers as long as they do their job correctly. I came back to read reviews after I left and they seemed to highlight what I was experiencing as an employee.

I have nothing good to say about my experiences with this company when it comes to dealing with the owners or their representative. I had my liner replaced and before the year was over the pool started to leak. It was an installation problem and it was supposed to be covered by their warranty, well that was a lie. After a lengthy call with the owner his best offer was a $50 credit. I paid $400 dollars to get the pool liner fixed. Time went by and i decided to give them another chance so i ordered a pool cover and was told it will be delivered in 3 weeks. I placed theorder on September 12th, well, 35 days later and after multiple visits and complaints the cover was delivered and installed against my instructions. Because they could not give me a time or a day, i asked for the cover to be dropped at my home and i will install it my self. Leaves were falling into my pool and i wanted to clean and apply the closing kit before putting the cover on. without calling or adhering to my instructions their help arrived while i am not home and covered my pool. this happened after i specifically insisted on delivering the cover only. Now i have to take the cover off, clean the pool from all the leaves, apply the chemicals and close it again. It is only because of the staff at the Pembroke mall especially Pete that keeps me from leaving. I agree with all of those who spoke highly of Bob and his unmatched service and relations wit the customers but i find it hard to believe that Pete is anything less than great. I believe he is following in the steps of Bob by offering great service and knowledge to his customers and may be the owners can learn a thing or two from their store staff.

Three Strikes. The first time my husband visited this store he was in the store for 10 minutes waiting with his pool sample and neither of the employees spoke to him or even looked at him. He was the only customer in the store. He left without being helped. Then, yesterday I went to the store to get 2 bags of salt. Yes, it was raining balls. But I was there and I wanted the salt since I would need it today. The male employee did not want to sell me the salt. He said I would not be using it today. I said I needed it for tomorrow. He said the salt was in the back shed and the bags were paper and the rain would disintegrate them and that I should come back after the rain had passed. I said I was there now and did not want to go back out for anything. He said he was sorry and did not want to waste my time. He refused to sell me the salt. I left. My husband called this morning to complain and he was put on hold and ignored. We will find our pool supplies elsewhere.

My family and I have been going there for years. We have given them the benefit of doubt over the years because of proximity needed to purchase liquid chlorine.
Their unscrupulousist in selling expired liquid chlorine or liquid chlorine that has been rendered of it's potency due to improper storage(in direct sun and in hot temperature for long periods of time) has caused me to take action. In addition, I have witness them open containers and refilling them with substitute liquid due to evaporation, or perhaps a concoction of their own to benifit financially.
Moreover, I have caught them just recently trying to take advantage of my youngest daughter by changing a price tag to almost double the price for me to pay. The owner/manager saw that I was on to them and quickly remedied the action taken by a young creepy male teenager that acts as though he is a polite, friendly youth, but in fact, is a treacherous individual - with a smile! BE VERY CAUTIOUS with this young creature as his learned agenda is to deceive you at all cost and to rob you of your money- I think it's a game among the young staff and the lady that sits on the side of the counter to see who can be the most cunning in sales - her protege perhaps... .
Do yourself a favor and drive to other Aqua leisures whose staff will not try and take advantage of you or sell you EXPIRED liquid chlorine. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
