Working with David this past year has been such a pleasure!!! He designed a beautiful pool and spa for our new home. David’s service has been over the top!!! Being new pool Owners, he has answered all of our questions and has very patiently walked us through every challenge!!! We are very particular home owners and he has satisfied us 100 percent! We love David and his crew and we would strongly recommend them. We will continue to call on Pool Works of Va for all of our pool needs. Angela and Mike😎😍👍

I generally had a good experience with Poolworks. David has been good about answering questions as they come up. We had a few bumps in the process but David dealt with them and he seems very knowledgeable and has been willing to troubleshoot. I would use David again or recommend Poolworks as he seems to really care about the product and his customers.

I would recommend Poolworks over any other pool builder in the area. We built our pool in 2013 and it has performed well over the last 5 years. Our pool is 23,000 gallons, gunite, with a variable speed pump, sand filter, heat pump, salt cell and ozone generator (purifier). It also has a waterfall and Polaris pressure side vacuum with booster pump. We have a paver pool deck with an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit area and a stand-alone hot tub. Pros • Quality – David doesn’t cut corners. For example, he uses more expensive 3-way valves (much better than the old style cheap ball valves), all 2” PVC on the suction side (which doesn’t clog when vacuuming acorns like 1 ½” pipe), LED lighting, etc. Other quotes I got skimped on all the little things that matter. One quote didn’t even include coping! • Fair price – David spent our money wisely. To be clear, they were not the lowest price, but there weren’t any hidden surprises either. Some quotes from other builders looked lower, until I realized they didn’t include everything (e.g., coping) and didn’t have comparable quality (lesser equipment). Had I gone with a “lower” quote – I would’ve been in for a few expensive surprises. I appreciated David’s honesty up front – he quoted a quality pool at a fair price while others cut corners to make their price look lower. • Poolworks stands behind their work. For example, our original pump was a lemon – they replaced it. We had some pavers that settled, they came back out and reset them. Cons • Scheduling – Unfortunately, they didn’t always show up when they said they would due to weather or scheduling conflicts. • Communication – The scheduling delays would have been less frustrating if they would have communicated better. And, sometimes, they were tough to get ahold of. Bottom-Line I’d build with Poolworks again. The pros far outweigh the cons, and we love our pool - simple as that. Poolworks helped us transform our backyard from a buggy, swampy pit to a gorgeous, year-round destination for our family and friends. The quality of the parts, equipment and workmanship has lasted and has made pool maintenance much easier.

Actually I would have posted 0 stars if Google would have let me but they require at least 1 star to post your review. I called and spoke with Fuller about coming to look at and give an estimate to finish my pool which had been left unfinished by a different builder. On the appointed day Fuller was called to another job after a large thunderstorm the night before, so instead Tripp came out and we talked about the pool. We went into detail about what I expected and what they could do. We agreed that this job was well within their scope of abilities and that they wanted to help us get the pool finished. Tripp said that he would pass all the information along to Fuller and that Fuller would be getting me an estimate. That was in mid June and Tripp and I hoped that they would be able to get to the job By the week of July 4th as we would be out of town. Sadly, after several phone calls, text messages, and even a submission on the "Contact us" page on their website they have not contacted me about the job yet.
