Woodlands Pool

This pool was very nicely laid out with a deep end, lap swimming, and both a kids and a toddler area. There is also a small water park section that looked great for kids. Woodlands pool seemed to have a little bit for everyone. And the water was nicely regulated to a good temperature and pH level that made it comfortable to swim for long periods of time. If I was visiting the area for longer I would certainly make this a regular place to go.

The description needs to be changed. This pool is not open year round anymore due to a larger year round facility opening down the road. This facility is only open in the summer now. The closest pool open year round now is The Jeff Rouse Center off Mine road.

Why would the county do away with this pool in the winter. I could seem laps for $5.00, now it is much more expensive Rouse center put me out of exercise, as a retiree it is difficult.

Nice fun place but the pool needs some repairs/renovations. The splash area is a blast for the kids.
