Arcadia Cafe

As good as everything is here, (pour over) coffee remains the strange out. The Raspberry Almond bar is ridiculously great, and my mango smoothie was impressive as well. The menu roasted with the seasons so ask the staff for suggestions. Fantastic scones, never had one I liked until now and couldn't believe it was gluten free. Pour over coffee done right, if you've never had it before you owe it to yourself to try it. I've had the cold brew, which is great too but I really like the single origin Ethiopian black, and normally I take everything english regular (cream and 2 sugars). Hard to believe there's a place like this in Iowa, world class deserts, best coffee around for hundreds of miles. They cater too and can make things to order if you call a week ahead.

Fantastic German chocolate cake! The cake is why this place gets a high rating from me. Coffee is very good too! Truffle fries very aromatic, although the cheese was awkward and chunky, smash burger not the best choice on the menu and I will not order it again, and Korean BBQ meat was charred (not in a good way). Overall, there are definitely good things on this menu.

The place is good but waited almost 25 minutes for a capuccino to go. When I checked at the counter, I got the curt response that there is only one person making coffee and they will get to it. May be this attitude works in a college town but doubtful anywhere else. The saving Grace was the girl who delivered the cup apologized for the wait.

One of the best cafes I have ever eaten at In my life. 5 star service fantastic food and above average coffee.

Food is goooood. Staff is very nice and accomdating, inside is always very clean. Get the lox bagel without capers (the housemade lox are quite salty on their own.) Great place to chill and people-watch (as the bars are right next door.) 4 stars because price is kind of ridiculous but understandable
