Cafe Milo

Good place to study. Great selection of drinks. Prices are on the higher side. Service is okay, several times I've placed an order and the coffee never came or I received the incorrect size. It's a much needed cafe as there isn't much else around the West end of Ames.

The staff was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful when we were deciding what tea we wanted to try. The wraps and sandwiches we're really good. The atmosphere is cozy and calm. This was my first time going, but it is definitely on my list as a favorite in the area! I highly recommend you check it out!

I've enjoyed this place for a couple years. They have good WiFi and good coffee. However, on my last visit I was served a salad consisting of about one fourth slimy rotten lettuce. It also smelled rancid. I went to the counter and mentioned it to the staff. They dismissed me with an excuse. I returned with a large amount of clearly rotten food to which I was told "oh, I'll take a look at it." No offer to remake the salad, to refund the cost, or even an apology for serving me rotten food. I've loved this place for a long time, but this service experience has left me with such a sour taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively, that I'll likely never return. Inconsistent is one thing, it happens, but obstinate staff combined with rotten food... yeah give this place a miss unless you're keen for some food poisoning.

Cozy, with fast wifi, this cafe is great to study in and even order a drink. Great blends of coffee and amazing salads that even non-salad eaters would enjoy. With well priced menu 2-4 dollars for drinks.

Great for studying or working - lots of outlets and tables. Coffee is also great! Food, likewise, is excellent.
