Arium Pineville

I came and done a tour of the apartments and talked to Angi. She was very respectful and informative. I also met Alan, the mantaiance man, and he was so nice and answered so many of my questions concerning safety and the schools in the area. I'm a single mom so I had many questions and both are them helped me out so much. I really wish I could move into the 2 bedroom apartment but the cost didn't line up with my budget and that's the only reason I have chosen not to live in this amazing place with such awesome people. Thanks truly to Ascent Pineville for such a great experience.

Lived here 2 years. Changed ownership/management during this time. When new employees arrived, there was a brief period of great service but unfortunately has now returned to its old neglectful ways. Shut down the gym indefinitely and have reduced the already limited parking.

I love living here, the staff is extremely helpful, and they respond quickly to any problems or concerns. Andrea and LaKeesha are just wonderful people that have helped me so much while living here. I feel they communicate well with the residents by sending regular emails. I love that the complex is in a secluded area, while still being near everything. I think the rent is reasonable especially for the area they are located in. The area is nice, quiet, and clean, I've been here for almost a year, and plan to renew my lease, and while living here I have had no issues with neighbors, or staff.

I am interested in moving to the Pineville area from Raleigh. Ascent Pineville came up in my Google search while online shopping for apartments in that area. I decided to stop by the property with no appointment to learn more about what the complex has offer. I was sold after speaking with Lakeesha. She was very knowledgeable and forthcoming. If she didn't know the answer, she found me an answer and followed up with me by phone. I was very pleased with her professionalism, this property's location, cleanliness and amenities! Definitely considering!

**RENTERS BEWARE** This place was great when Arium owned it, now that Ascent owns it it has seriously went to hell. Just for starters there have been several occasions where trash will pile up at the dumpster for several days and even a week or two. Pet waste stations are rarely emptied and usually overflowing with dog waste. In the summer especially, cockroaches the size of your finger overwhelm the complex. I used to kill 1 or 2 outside every time I took my dog out, and then 1 every other day inside my apartment crawling on my walls and ceilings. You are forced to pay for cable and valet trash, regardless of if you want either, they bill it in with your rent, so expect $80 on top of rent every month. You will also pay a pet deposit plus pet rent every month, which will not be used in case of pet damage or for cleaning, and will not be returned to you when you move out. Rent will increase quite a bit every time your lease expires, as if they are punishing you for being a loyal tenant, instead of rewarding you. Maintenance issues will go days, weeks, or months without being repaired. My recessed light in the living room dangled from the ceiling for over 7 months without being repaired, when i finally moved out it was still hanging. And yes, several calls to maintenance were made to address the issue. The complex amenities are a joke, the car wash is almost useless, and requires you putting your hand in a moldy opening to turn the water on. The constant smell of weed from the neighbors will give you headaches, so you step out on your balcony for fresh air, and then get to witness the drug deals in the parking lot. People will blare loud music at all hours of the night driving in and out. The mail station was crashed into, and took several months to be repaired, forcing all tenants to drive to ballantyne to pick up their mail. Office workers are rarely any help, and change on a regular basis. Oh and when it rains hard the storm drains block easily and flood the parking lot, deep enough to cause potential damage to a vehicle driving through. Speaking of rain, our ceiling leaked water every time it rained, that took roughly 2 months to finally fix. There's more but i feel I've made my point. I would never ever rent from here, or recommend this complex to anyone.

I had a great experience with Ascent Pineville. LaKeesha was very helpful and polite when giving me information about a 2 bedroom apartment. She took the time to explain everything that the community has to offer and answered my many questions.

Very nice and friendly staff. They've been helpful in everyway. Maintenance request are answered very expeditiously. I was trying to do 4.5 .. I didn't want to provide a full 5 as I have not been a resident that long to state it has exceeded my expectations. There's always room for growth. Environment has been pretty good, but you can't really see the details of everything until you experienced all four seasons, hence when summer starts the full aspects will be revealed but so far so good. It has it's little visiting neighbors like deer, bunnies and squirrels & 1 or 2 possums but they mind their own business and so do I. Lol

I had to make a move quickly for a new job in the area. I’ve never had such outstanding service from a rental community. Julie was extremely helpful and kind from start to finish. She made the move-in process easy and stress-free. The apartment she suggested for me is just what I was looking for. Shes always responsive and communicative if anything is needed. I really value this type of support and service in the community where I live. It makes you feel so much better about your home. I’m really glad I chose Ascent Pineville.
