I had a procedure today. My experience with Arizona Endoscopy Center was pleasant and fluid. The young man at the front desk whom I had forgotten to ask his name was pleasant, welcoming and efficient. He was the 1st fresh face patients meet in the clinic. It’s not often to be greeted by someone like him in many health care settings. RN Michelle was welcoming with excellent bedside care. She put me at ease and made sure I was comfortable. Dr David and Nurse Anesthetist Aaron provided were great. The post procedure nurse and tech who brought me to the car were wonderful. Thank you staff at Arizona Endoscopy Center for a great experience.
The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Each staff member introduced themselves to me, explained what they were or would be doing and seemed genuinely interested in meeting my needs. I felt very well cared for and would recommend this facility to others. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because my pre-op orders said to not bring in any personal items, yet I was sitting in a waiting room full of patients buried in their cell phones & books, but I had no personal items with me to help occupy my wait.
The overall experience was fine considering the context. Once called back the staff were great and got me through the process easy enough. I was very disappointed with the energy from the guy at the front desk. Since I know myself I didn’t respond to his behavior. I think that he felt some kind of way about me holding him accountable with getting my gender correct and the pronunciation of my name. The micro aggressions were obvious and assertions were made because I was a Black woman.
From the moment that I checked in, I found the staff extremely friendly and so helpful. The nurses in the pre-op area made me feel very comfortable and they were very reassuring. The "intra-op" nurses were so fun, made me laugh which relieved any anxiety that I had and the recovery nurses were also wonderful. Things couldn't have gone any smoother and it was a really positive experience.
Arizona Endoscopy Center does a wonderful job. The staff is always so friendly and warm. Everything seems to run very efficiently without being chaotic or rushed. They make the entire process as easy and painless as possible. Well done AEC employees!
Dr. Schwartz is incredible! He’s so kind, caring and explains everything so well. His staff is absolutely awesome! I’d definitely recommend this group! Extremely professional, trustworthy and kind!
Had my first colonoscopy done here by Dr. MacCollum. First off, she's an amazing doctor, would highly recommend her. Second, this place was great. They were on time and everything went super smoothly. If you fill out your paperwork online like you're supposed to, check-in only takes a couple of minutes. I was called almost immediately back, given the gown and the IV was started. They began the procedure right on time and the staff is wonderful too. I had Erika P. for anesthesia and the other nurse was Kristina M. Both were so nice! If you've been putting off your colonoscopy for any reason, just don't. They were awesome here and you're asleep for the whole thing, you just wake up in recovery. Considering what anyone is doing at an endoscopy center, the experience here is as easy and comfortable as it gets.
The faculty was clean and well organized. Professional compassionate care received from every member of their team I came in contact with from the front desk to the anesthesiologist to Dr MacCollum. This is the way a medical practice should be run.
Very friendly and professional. They put you at ease and you’re seen at your appointment time. I felt like they really cared and kept checking on me. Good to know when you’re under anesthesia
Everyone one was very professional, my pre-procedure nurse Julie was so comforting and made me feel like family—she put me at ease and made me very comfortable. All the staff was great and I am very satisfied and pleased!
