Dr Brittany Panico is a great doctor. I like her. But there is no online portal. No way to leave messages with her staff without calling and waiting for a staff member after being on hold for quite a while. And she knows this. What is this? 2013? have routinely sat on prescription refill from my pharmacy, until I call them personally to ask them to refill it. It's majorly inconvenient. It's two weeks now and the pharmacy has had no response. If it wasn't for the fact she was was conveniently located by me, and I like her, I wouldn't go. Every other aspect of how the the practice is ran is majorly irritating.
AWFUL practice that doesn’t put their patients first, I don’t suggest. I am a young Lupus patient and have been on the same medication since my diagnosis 8 years ago. I have been without my medication for almost a week now and I will have to go to the ER now due to having a terrible flare up and also being in an excruciating amount of pain. Understandable the doctor wants labswhich I’ve completed and an in person appointmentwhich is scheduled for next week & was the soonest I could get, but how could you make a patient go without their meds for almost a week after being on them for EIGHT YEARS. After my appointment next week I will NEVER go to them again. I have called EVERY day and they all say it’s “sitting on the physicians desk he just has to sign it”, absolutely ridiculous.
I have debated posting review. I usually meet with Sarah who is amazing NP. She’s attentive and kind. And she actually listens. I love her. I recently went in last week to see Dr. Smith. I was equally as excited because I had heard awesome things about him. It was literally the worst doctors appointment I ever had. He had more questions about my boyfriends job, my wig and airplanes. Outside of the needed referral I needed for my nails which are horrific it was a complete disaster. I had new onset symptoms and pain he didn’t want to discuss in detail. Literally brushed me off and started asking about my boyfriends job AGAIN. I don’t know that I will go back. I would love to see Sarah again but she will be on Maternity leave for awhile.
My doctor referred me to see this doctors office 6 weeks ago, and I called after 2 weeks to see if I could set up an appointment because they still hadn't contacted me and I was told their "new patient scheduler" would contact me when they were ready to set up and appointment. So I patiently waited, and finally the scheduler, crystal, calls me but i just barely missed her call. So I immediately called her back and was told that she isn't in. All banner facilities these days seem to do the same thing where they make you run in circles. The doctors are typically fine but the staff is AWFUL and LAZY.
Love coming to this clinic to receive care; everyone treats you with the upmost respect. The front desk staff, the medical assistants, and doctors make sure to make you feel welcomed and are very friendly when taking care of you. I enjoy coming to this clinic because I feel like they truly care about my health and they take the time to listen to my concerns and questions. Dr. Smith is the BEST and I truly feel like my health is his concern when I go for my monthly visits. He does his best to find the best solutions possible and does not drown you with medications. I'm so thankful I found him and switched rheumatologists as I was not happy with my previous doctor.. Thank you.
If I have to keep calling you over and over to get you do what you said you was going to do two weeks ago then there is something wrong. And what's up with the scheduling my appt at 11am and me not being seen until after noon?? Disrespectful of my time and energy, is what
I called for a new patient appointment and was told I could NOT be referred there by my old RA doctor and would have to start over with a PCP to get the referral. Then they told me if I didn't like the first doctor I went to, I was NOT allowed to switch. I declined to do business with them.
Incredible Doctors and Nurses. The 5 day stay was wonderful because they all cared and finally found everything that was wrong with me. Thanks so much Much love and Blessings, Bunetta Gillespie
