Each of my three times have been exceptional. I highly recommend. I’ve gone enough times to try a good amount of their smaller tapas style plates, and have gotten their signature Bomba rice dishes each time. The bomba rice is phenomenal. Even if you are a meat eater, the vegetable version is just as good as the various meat varieties. Staff has been great every time. It’s often busy but not too loud. Picky eaters may want to be more inquisitive with the descriptions because of unique spices and ingredients. Not a bad thing though.
This restaurant is located inside of the Marriott hotel. Service was great food was decent. We ordered lamb sausage that for some reason took so long that the waiter asked if we would like to cancel so we did. The interior is also beautiful. Although the overall experience was underwhelming and over priced.
The food here is really good. Our waitress was really nice and patient answering all of my questions and helping me decide what would be best. The ambiance here is great. It feels really authentic and I love the huge windows that give you a peak of what's going on outside.
I enjoy visiting restaurants when I travel, and on my last two visits to DC, I was curious about Arroz by Mike Isabella. I wanted to try their Iberic Ham Jamón Ibérico which is a popular dish in Spain and of course, one of their Bomba Rice dishes since I love rice. The Iberic Ham was delicious, just as I remember from the two times I've been in Spain. Now, I ordered the Pork Bomba Rice, and that is a religious experience. I seriously think that is one of the best meals I've ever had if not the best. I admit, the restaurant is pricy, but I will blindly pay the price for that Bomba Rice any day. It was just incredible and the service and information from the server was fantastic. Will definitely go again.
This restaurant located inside the Marriott Marquis has a very nice ambiance. We were here for Sunday brunch and decided to do small plates. Kids loved the moroccan pancakes - of course the syrup was super sweet. I ordered a fried chicken plate which turned out to be a sandwich. I normally dont order chicken but must say that the combination with the sauce was delicious. We tried the hot smoked bone marrow. It was great but it disappeared within seconds. At that price they could serve both sides of the bone. Other plates we tried were the burnt eggplant and the pintxo board piece of chorizo with cheese and a medium spice pepper We spent around twice that of a normal lunch for 4 but knew that going in. Their main dish is Baked bomba rice which serves around 3 people. Since we did not want rice, we skipped this but we saw it at another table and it looked pretty tempting.
Cool automosphere with a wonderful mix of tapas, classic Moroccan and Spanish dishes. Great location at the Marriott Marquis with easy access just the the left of the entrance. The relaxing ambientence is great for a quite evening or a starter on the town. Try your favorite or experment with something new.
Arroz is another lovely brunch spot and general restaurant by Mike Isabella. The large space has quaint booths for two perfect for catching up and larger tables if you're at the Marriott for a conference. We had the Bloody Marys - spicy but slightly untraditional in flavor - for $12. The patatas bravas are amazing if not slightly overpriced. The winter vegetable baked bomba rice half share is great for two but mind that they add $5 to the half price to split it which feels a silly place to upcharge a patron.
Fantastic experience at Arroz! The ambiance was lovely, the service was grand although at first it felt a little rushed and the food was exquisite. My three friends and I really enjoyed the diver scallop bomba, various appetizers including the fried cod fritters and a bottle of wine, which the server recommended and was superb!
Wonderful experience for RW. Nice Moroccan style decor. Love the salmon and chocolate custard m.
