This is one of the worst art scams I have come across in the industry.
The facility, although decent and tucked away in the Pasadena hills, is basically is a scammers mill factory, churning out swindlers and fake posers out into an already crime-infested industry.
The production syllabus is basically a self-entitled diva scammer workshop, teaching you how to talk and push your way into a deal and then yanking out the budget from underneith your employees. Nothing about business or law, finances, accounting, or ethics was ever taught or upheld.
The directorship program was more about how to act like a "genius from HBO", scrounge up a crew of prostitutes, gullible aspiring actors, and the lowest bidding film companies to steer into an iceberg and sink the ship with everyone on board all the while trying to snap clips to gullible investors and then blame it on everyone else as the ship sinks with you at the helm.
The students were some of the worst self entitled leftist racist, xenophobia, sexual perverts I have ever come across. I learned so many words I can't post here that its absolutely shocking to see from the double-faced liberal crowds.
One (name withheld) "veteran producer" belittled my team from everything about our sex appeal to our work ethnic while we put in over a thousand hours that semester while said producer had no clue what he/she was doing and declined the advice from veteran directors and real industry professionals on our team.
He/she spent hours trying to convince us that we were nothing without him/her and that we needed to give up all our contractual autonomy to him/her to lead the project (which we did and he/she steered it into the ground).
In a nut shell, they indoctrinate you or make you think you are greatest genius in the world and take your money and teach you how to take other people's money to gamble for investors to screw over while breaking every law in the book.
They teach you to break every law in the book, steal goods and services, and how to become a criminal 101. Their goal is to break you down and think you are nothing so they can take advantage of you and gain total control. These people are absolutely sick.

This is one of few places where the students really get to have up-to-date tools for their creativity. The only drawback is it's very expensive!

A school which taught me how to be tough and smart in the real world through blood, sweat, and tears. Nevertheless I cannot thank enough to the best training I had through this education... The way how to open up our minds and look not only outside the box... But also through it. :)
I am 2008 Fall Undergraduate of Transportation Design.

Good school but avoid the professor Rey Bustos at ALL COSTS. He is a sexist, exhibits favoritism and his bad attitude has caused many students to become discouraged. He doesn't have the true interest of ArtCenter at heart. He is, in my opinion, unfit to be a teacher at this or any art school.

I graduated from ACCD with a major in Fine Arts/Painting. Attending this school was the best decision that I ever made. What I learned at ACCD informs and influences my current life and work every day. I loved every minute of ACCD (even my Perspective Drawing class) and I love the friends I made there.
