Artemis Carmel

Stumbled across Artemis while heading over to try a different establishment. Was intrigued by the menu items, and thought we would give it a try. So glad we did! The Cornmeal Encrusted Seabass with Curry Mashed Potatoes & the Short Ribs Raviolis were amazing!! The service was also outstanding!! Everything was just perfect actually. They have a fairly diverse menu, but the kitchen seems to be delivering on all of them. Would easily recommend this eatery to anyone.

A very special friend came into town over Mother’s Day weekend. She loves “great” restaurants and is always telling of new places she finds in Sacramento. We decided to try Artemis on Ocean Avenue. We had the very best dinner there. She had the filet mignon and told me it was cooked to perfection. It melted in her mouth like butter. I had the salmon with fresh vegetables and fingerling potatoes. Excellent! We were both sharing our dishes with each other. It was so good that we went back the next night to have dinner again. You won’t be disappointed. Mark was our waiter and took good care of us! We look forward to returning to this new gem of a restaurant in Carmel!!!

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. The waitstaff was incredibly accommodating and attentive. Wine was excellent and reasonably priced. The roasted quail and the Kunefe dessert are both highly recommended.

Delicious Mediterranean food served here. The service is fast and absolutely friendly.
