Asian Market

I have been shopping at Asian Market for several years. Large selection, and helpful staff. I always find what I need. They are the only Asian store I visit now for all my shopping.

I shop here; extensively they have international brands, by which I mean not only particularly but gradients there of in exotics but also ethnic or geographical esoterica with qualities and selections of produce unavailable otherwise in the Columbia, SC Supermarket-Grocery this NOT true in more cosmopolitan or metropolitan areas but while there are also real savings available and quality of selection wholly unavailable to shoppers elsewhere in Columbia. FYI: ultra fresh veggies arrive on Thursdays and the sellers are expressing their delivery across the county to the shop. So, that’s an update and they sell out quickly, I can wait for the coming arrivals and the value is not to be comparable with the average cost of living. You pay almost 3 dollars for a ¾ lb bag of low grade rice I pay 10-15 for a premium 15 lb bag and it lasts longer than a month or two almost three. And, it shocks me to see that when shopping here it is almost an Asian clientele shopping here when this is an eclectic privately operated and owned Grocery Store, excellent cutlery, curated home goods, both pantry to kitchen and restauranteurs shop here, culinary arts and collegiate party foods supplies store. Cookies are good. I’d rather have a “Ginseng Up” (original), then a Coke or Ginger-ale 7:10 and 9:10 over a Obi, Sapporo, Heineken, Corona or Budweiser 345 days out of year.

This place was awesome. It had everything I needed for a very special Japanese recipe. It had a lot of items that I like. Very good selection.

It's got great selection of oriental food products. Prices could be better
