We came here on a Sunday. The place was busy. The service was underwhelming. It took 10 minutes to order and another 30 minutes to get our food. The Server check on us once and ignored us every time we tried to flag her down. The food was okay. The steak and egg was overcooked. The French toast was very small in portions. The gyro and Lamb burger had the same texture of packed ground lamb. The price was decent but won't be be back.
Great staff, food, and atmosphere. Our only critiques are the sauces/dressings made were not good, but because they were placed in containers on the side they didn't detract from overall taste, which was wonderful. Third time coming for lunch, and every dish I choose is delicious!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
REVIEW 1 Food: SCALLOP CASSEROLE which included Grilled Scallops baked with White Wine, Bread Crumbs and topped with a Lemon Cream sauce, served with Mashed Potato & sautéed Vegetables. Drink: House Margarita pitcher Ambiance: Casual and spacious. Parking: Free street parking Pricing: Fair Food flavors: The scallops were cooked to perfection and had mouthwatering flavors, it was seasoned to perfection in my opinion. The veggies were pretty bland. The mashed patatoes were pretty standard but they tasted very good. Portion size: It was a fulfilling portion, it definitely was not small. Drinks: The margarita pitcher did not have a heavy alcohol taste which I enjoyed, but it still packed a punch lol It was big enough for two people. REVIEW 2 Food: Stuffed french toast Cinnamon french toast stuffed with cream cheese and topped with banana, strawberries, and a caramel drizzle. Scrambled eggs with cheese. Ambiance: It is a casual venue. Parking: Free street parking. Pricing: Decently priced not expensive. Food flavors: I wish the cream cheese filling was sweeter and that they had used more. I also wish the strawberries were sweeter. Otherwise this dish was fine, but I was not impressed. They eggs and cheese were great. Portion size: The portion was large. Great service and food. I have been coming in once a week from Maine visiting my son who is in collage in Quincy. They carry my favorite beer Allagash White. The mushroom and shrimp ravioli is absolutely amazing.
Drink was good. Food was not. Calamari wasn't seasoned and was bland. Mentioned it to the bartender. Ordered the rack of lamb med rare and got a well done one instead. Sent it back to get remade and got one that was still raw. Got a drink taken off but charged for the lamb that I didn't even eat because the cooks just don't care and no quality control.
Loved this place!! I got lucky and a parking spot out front was open. Super nice decor with exposed brick with a large bar and lots of table seating. They have those windows that open up so it’s like being outside. There is an excellent selection of beer and tons of different liquors. I had three different IPAs that day and they were all excellent. I ordered the steak bomb and had them hold the prosciutto, mushrooms and onions. It was huge and loaded with meat and cheese as well as red and green peppers. It came with awesome french fries and I could only eat half the sandwich and maybe half the french fries. I took the rest home and had it for lunch the next day.
Our friend Jeanne has been on the hunt for a Gilded Skull beer, and she found out that they're serving it at Assembly. We came by for a drink and apps... Was very crowded when we arrived, but service was still quick...I had the Minestrone bacon soup and a gin martini
We had Ally Ali?, I’m sorry if we butchered the spelling of her name, as a server- she was everything you’d want a server to be! Attentive, sweet, knowledgeable, timely. This is our second time at Assembly and we LOVE the food, service is always wonderful, atmosphere/ambience is comfortable and cozy. We want to have our wedding dinner there because we love the place so much.
Racists with Asian Customers in Quincy Town and let’s us wait 26 minutes without any “Tap Water”. Not busy at 6pm, waiter and staff stand for talking and didn’t care anything. First time come here and never come back. Bad service!
This was a great find! Prices very reasonable. Portions generous. Our waitress was so sweet. The only suggestion I have is to find an area for people to wait for their table. We had to wait outside. Other than that it is a wonderful restaurant!Food: 5/5
