This is the ideal place to go to for anyone visiting New Orleans for the food. It is a little ways off the beaten path of the tourist area but well worth trek. We had to come back with new friends visiting since it was so good the first time and it did not disappoint the second time. All dishes, even the simple ones are so flavorful. From the flavor to the textures and the unique pairings/ mixes the food is just amazing. We had all shared plates as we could not decide and the general consensus among us all is that the food there is just amazing. The staff is also very great and friendly each time we go. The drinks from the cocktail menu are also top notch. We will definitely be bringing more friends here. Overall not over the too expensive we just racked up quite a bill with one person in our party ordering Johnnie blue with a rock.
Great brunch and a beautiful place. We made our reservation ahead of time. We enjoyed the complimentary corn muffins and butter. The shrimp and grits were flavorful. The chicken from the chicken and waffles was tasty and well-spiced. The bellinis and mimosas were too strong, and they could’ve used more of the fruit flavor. Alisha was nice and attentive.
Amazing food. Was traveling from out of town for St Patrick’s day weekend. Made a reservation on a whim and was glad that I did. The location was unassuming since it’s in a small location away from the main downtown area. Once inside the service was prompt and our server was knowledgeable about all of our dishes. We had the fried green tomatoes which was light, fried, and full of flavor. Our entrees were the Muddy Waters Fish and the Pork Chop. Both were amazing in different ways and had so many flavors that complimented each other. Beer and wine selection was plentiful. Dessert was strawberry shortcake which was sweet, however, the biscuit was a bit hard. All in all, an amazing, intimate and unique dining experience!
Great food. Loved the crab cake appetizer and chicken and waffles. The duck hash was delicious, but seriously lacking duck meat. Most of our drinks were great, but we didn't like the green bloody Mary.Food: 5/5
Great environment, excellent service, and amazing food! They made the burger kid friendly for my son and he enjoyed it down to every last bite. This was our first time and will not be the last. We went for brunch and enjoyed everything. I am having dreams about those peaches and cream waffles! Best waffles EVER hands down!! Expect to pay $$$ but the quality of the food is well worth it.
Without debate, one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Josh was an amazing waiter, suggesting perfect wine pairings with the exceptional food. A really cool vibe, in a beautiful old building. This place checks all the boxes, and gets all the extra credit questions right to boot. Well done from start to finish!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
Staff is amazing, attentive, and accommodating. The food is brilliantly spiced and delicious. If you’re looking for a contemporary spin on creole food with an amazing atmosphere, this is it. This has to be the cleanest, freshest, nicest place we have found in New Orleans. Thanks for celebrating our 1yr anniversary with us! 10/10 will be back!
Excellent food. We went for brunch and my husband had the duck while I had the fish. Both were delicious. In addition we a shared gumbo and boudin. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Highly recommended.
Great atmosphere, service and food! Staff is super nice. I had the chicken n waffle and it was the best I ever had hands down. My partner also enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Must try!
We love it here. One of our favorite places in New Orleans. Order anything on the menu. Today, we had brunch. The crispy gulf oysters, chicken and waffles, breakfast risotto, and the crab cake Benedict were incredible. The good morning Vietnam bloody mary had quite a kick, and the "Bad Apple" cocktail was quite tasty.Food: 5/5
